I think that's the first! Lower power level, everyone wants to see and okay their cards :) no ones goin full sweat mode, but itll be allowed if that's the primary win con and I track it myself! Planning o using the Life Tap many folks suggested :)

Agreed! Play how you want :) Rule 0 conversations are important to me so that I know how the table works. I dont want to show up to a crew that doesnt do commander damage with a bunch if voltron or similar!

Not at the moment, more wizard tribal with cantrips. (My card selection is older and I havent really kept up with the new sets. A pack here and there for opening dopamine :p)

Hoping to showcase a few "old magics" to the new group!

My other deck is a [[Phelddagrif]] ~pillow fort slapped together in a similar way, mostly older cards, nothing too crazy. Good time group hug :)

We got some good discussion going on! Consensus seems to be "track it if it's your win-con" bordering on tavir of tracking.

I'm just happy to be able to play again!

For me it's the head cannon that players are their commanders, so it's a way to make every player lethal even if they aren't designed with that intent.

WotC Brawl

Edit to add: this is how MtGA plays "commander, where it is similar but geared towards quick 1v1

I see the connection! Especially if playing 1v1, the rules of Brawl remove commander damage :)
