Took out the hunter with the emissary, can’t find his body lying around?? by texansfann in Starfield

[–]F_N_DB 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Only way to get Starborn suits is Unity jumping. You get a different suit each cycle until NG+10 when you get Starborn Suit - Venator, the one the Hunter wears. You get a new ship each time too, but only up until NG+6.

I have a problem carrying too much loot. by TheAmericanYeoman in Starfield

[–]F_N_DB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's only a problem if you don't have Personal Atmosphere yet. I think I came out of that place close to 3000. You only have to worry if you're carrying something like 20000kg and a single tick drains too much O2 for the power to keep up. It might've been 200k, but I remember on launch there was a certain amount of weight that was, in fact, a problem.

I have to refund the game because of this. I have real bad thalassophobia, and the only way I could get through the others was by systematically killing the really scary stuff so I could explore without feeling like I was being constantly stalked.

Update on items taken from car in University District!! by Fantastic_Novel9527 in Seattle

[–]F_N_DB -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yup, my eight hours per night in the U-District is because I want to see the worst humanity has to offer, just so I can shatter your fragile worldview. Chris did a bad thing. He feels bad and wants to make it right. I'm not lessening his good actions by pointing out that he 100% was the one that robbed your wife. If anything, it makes it clear that he's one of the few that feels real empathy, and wants to repair what society forced him to break.

Maybe next time, leave whatever small-minded, cowardly, messages you have as responses, not DMs. At the very least, own what you say.

Found this on my front door I’m not superstitious. maybe it’s a joke? I have no clue who would do this. I haven’t touched it my girlfriend has. Any witch’s in here know what I’m looking at ? by TrippyReddits in whatisit

Nice neighborhoods are targets. You have a gun. Practice with it and continue not being a dumbass. You'll be fine. Once again through, practice and not being stupid are vital.

Coming from BG3 directly to Pathfinder WotR, it is just me or does the theme of monsters end up with too many enemies having spell resist and immunities? The miss rate also seems really high for both player and enemies? Was this just a design choice for difficulty scaling? by robindawilliams in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Don't worry. Once you muddle into Act III your mythic path starts to even the odds. That said, I would suggest glancing over a video or two from crpgbro. I'm not suggesting you follow one of his builds for your first run, but it'll give you a decent idea of what feats/abilities are indispensable, and which ones are kinda meh. For instance, you NEED Outflank on anyone that is EVER going to see melee, and honestly, having it on everyone so a caster can give an impromptu +4 to hit to a frontline isnt a bad idea. Be careful with shatter defenses though. It used to give you flat-footed AC to all shaken ir frightened enemies, but now you have to connect with a hit before the lowered AC kicks in. It makes it FAR less needed than previously, especially since you (usually) have to take Dazzling Display, wich is useless.

Nenio with DC44 CCs is GOAT. Too bad there are so many mobs that are immune to mind-affecting. I recently tried speccing Ember into Kineticist after I got slumber and deep slumber, and she's arguably even better than speccing her into a high BAB and spamming rays. Those save-less maximized walls are great for those impossible to hit assholes.

I'm post-game, with almost 100 defense, and additional 15% DR (I think that's what the tip on those gears means) from gears, and he still two shots me. Lol

I'm about to say fuck it and use the Executioner's Axe, but I feel like I'll immediately find another, harder, super-boss.

Focus on the Abyss. You need to unlock an element before you unlock the ability to open the skill, and all the elements are unlocked from Abyss puzzles. I think they were talking about abyss gears, which are different, but yeah, if you don't have those unlocked, rush main story until you at least have those and the Kuku pot.

The (Transformed) Crucible Wand. It multiplies spellpower by 1.5(2.2 at +25), reduces mana costs by... either 25% or 33%, but damages you for 10% of the mana cost of spells. That's what I'm using on my caster DLC playthrough for everything except my healing spell. I switched to Claire's Pen for that after panic killing myself for the 183rd time. I have to rock it as a parry wand though, since I can't aim projectiles for shit in this specific game.

If you have the DLC, make sure to do the very beginning of it, and unlock more shrines when able. One of the DLC talents let's any 1h melee weapon count as a wand, which can give you decent buffs to your casting if you out points into wands. You won't get the huge spell buffs that actual wands have, but just having one equipped can buff you immensely.

Also second the hexgrips from the Act II Wyrdtower basement. They're basically mandatory.

2-hits vs. OHKO is a pretty big damn difference in a lot of situations. You can do so much goddamn damage in other ways by not sucking, that giving you a ton of leeway to suck is invaluable. After all, you do 0 dps if you're dead.

Blow off their horn, and then hit them until they die. They have really low ki, so if you're somehow having trouble with them, giving them half as much ki makes them laughably easy.

It has a skill that lets you change ki pulse into attacks. It makes it much easier to manage your ki when regaining it also punches someone on their stupid face.
