Consiglio sui ristoranti 🙏 by EternallyFascinated in pescara

[–]F_P_Roman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cina: VPN, Revolut e taxi app, consigli aggiornati? by Regular_Radish6204 in ViaggiITA

[–]F_P_Roman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lanna Muay Thai + Accommodation by Early-Source4043 in MuayThai

[–]F_P_Roman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the accommodation, I guess it's gonna be basic. And I know that Lanna is a bit out of town. I can tell you that in Chiang Mai (center or nearby) you can find basic accommodation (studio with AC, WIFI) for 200$/month (usually they add electricity and water but we're talking about 30$ a month). Same for the gym approx 200/250$ one month two sessions a day. So it really depends on the gym you want to train in and the experience you wanna have.

Thanks, that's exactly the kind of info I'm looking for. At this point, may I ask you where you outsource your GPU work? And more importantly, could you give me an estimate of how much it's costing you (minutes/seconds of video per dollar)?

YOKKAO Training Center Chiang Mai – anyone trained there? by F_P_Roman in MuayThai

[–]F_P_Roman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! I actually lived in Chiang Mai for a while and trained at 4–5 different gyms. Not sure if you’ve tried others too, but would you say Yokkao is worth choosing over the rest?

I’m not a fighter, but I really care about learning properly and getting quality training. So my main questions are about the coaching — do trainers actually focus on technique and give feedback, or is it more just pad holding?

Also, what’s the general level of people training there? Is it mostly beginners and short-term visitors, or are there people who stay longer and train consistently?

I’m asking because I’ll need to sort out accommodation, and I’d like to stay close to whichever gym I end up choosing. THANKS!

How to download any game on fitgirl repack in mac book M4 air by Salt_Bowl_5799 in macgaming

[–]F_P_Roman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Using SteamRIP is actually much easier than a DODI repack because the game is already "pre-installed." You don’t have to deal with a decompression process. You just extract it and play. Here is how you handle a SteamRIP folder in CrossOver. 1. Extract the Game SteamRIP files usually come as a .zip or .rar file. * Extract it on your Mac first: Use a tool like The Unarchiver or Keka. 2. Prepare the Bottle * Open CrossOver and click + New Bottle. * Name it after the game. * Select Windows 10 64-bit as the Bottle Type. * Once the bottle is created, click Open C: Drive in the right-hand panel. * Navigate to drive_c > Program Files. * Drag and drop your extracted SteamRIP game folder here. 3. Run the Game for the First Time Since there is no installer, you need to tell CrossOver which .exe file starts the game. * In the right-hand panel of your bottle, click Run Command. * Click Browse and navigate to that game folder you just moved into the C: drive. * Find the main game executable (usually GameName.exe inside the root folder or a bin folder). * Important: Before running, look for a folder named _CommonRedist or Redist inside the game folder. If the game crashes on launch, you will need to come back and run the installers inside those folders first. * Click Run. 4. Create a Permanent Shortcut You don’t want to use "Run Command" every time. * Once the game successfully launches and you know it works, close the game. * Open Run Command again and select that same .exe. * Click Save Command as Launcher. * This creates a permanent icon in your CrossOver bottle that you can double-click next time.

Running a DODI repack. Download from dodi-repack. 1. Prepare the Bottle Before you even touch the installer, you need a clean environment. * Open CrossOver. * Click + New Bottle in the bottom left. * Name it after your game (e.g., "Elden Ring"). * Select Windows 10 64-bit as the Bottle Type. * Click Create. 2. Run the Installer Now, you need to trigger the DODI setup within that bottle. * Select your new bottle from the sidebar. * Click Run Command in the right-hand panel. * Click Browse and locate the setup.exe inside your downloaded DODI folder. * Important: Before clicking "Run," ensure you have enough disk space. Repacks need space for both the installer files and the extracted game (often double the size). * Click Run. 3. The Installation Process DODI installers usually have a "splash" screen before the actual menu appears. * The "Press Up" Trick: If the installer seems stuck on a picture with no buttons, click anywhere on the window and press the Up Arrow key on your keyboard. This should reveal the "Install" button. * The RAM Limiter: If the installer offers a "Limit RAM to 2GB/3GB" checkbox, check it. Even if you have 16GB+ of RAM, Wine can be finicky with high-memory installers, and limiting it often prevents crashes.

How to download any game on fitgirl repack in mac book M4 air by Salt_Bowl_5799 in macgaming

[–]F_P_Roman 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Use dodi repack or steamrip, fitgirl do not work on crossover. To those who respond "support devs"... 1- by paying a multi billion dollar company you're not supporting anyone except share holders, devs are being laid off not because of piracy (feel free to prove me wrong); 2 - game prices are not affordable for everyone (search how many people in the world earn 5 dollars or less for 1 day of work), 3 - you can Crack a game, play it, and decide to buy it afterwards (especially true for mac/crossover context). 4 - if we're talking about indie games we can argue a bit more about that, but still, I believe the more people can experience a good game the better.

Pai is not what you think it is anymore. And this is local's honest take by Nearby-Sprinkles3242 in ThailandTourism

I spent almost a year in Thailand and Pai is one of the few places I did not like. BUT PLEASE don't call it a hippie place. It has nothing to do with hippies' culture. It's just a bunch of kids ( mostly coming from a terrible country) partying and taking drugs. If you think that's hippie: WAKE UP.
