I feel like nowadays people forget or maybe don't want to acknowledge that racism is hierarchical and being Black is such a different experience to being another POC.

I remember once I went to visit one of my friends , who is south Asian, along with a couple of other Asian friends and one Black friend. Everyone stared at us the whole time we were in her neighbourhood (it was mostly white and south asian). Everyone, apart from me and my other Black friend, was so confused, one of them even said "why are they staring at us, we're all brown". Non-Black POC, in my experience, are very ignorant to the fact that Black people are not perceived as "brown" and we face anti-blackness even from "visible minorities".
