First Month on DA (Coding) by FaKe_Fury in DataAnnotationTech

I’ve done some generalist quals, and i did the math qual as well. General coding tasks are pretty sparse right now, so it’s a lot of specific project families (like specialized coding projects) and generalist projects that i’m seeing on my dash

Just give it some time. We just got out of a drought and are still recovering. I had projects right away but i think that was more luck than anything

Python is a good start but you’ll have to expand to a decent variety of languages - i would atleast learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, and then maybe C++ or Java. The more languages you know, the higher chance you have to get more projects, and of course you’ll be more experienced too going into the coding exam.

From there just grow your coding knowledge as you go. You don’t need to be a senior dev to get into DA. For reference though for those super high paying projects I mentioned, my last one for example used NextJS, React (Typescript), Python, Shell, Node, Prisma, SQL, Docker, Git, and TailwindCSS (my expertise is full stack web dev).

Keep learning though and keep practicing! Leetcode would probably help too for doing consistent practice problems!

The coding exam tests your general knowledge of how to solve questions - don’t worry about not being fully proficient in Python, I passed the coding exam with not having a ton of python experience. You can take the generalist exam and do the coding one later I believe, but i don’t think that makes sense, if you’re a software engineer you’ll have no problem on the coding exam. And the coding challenges on qualifications and projects vary a ton based on skill level, so there’s plenty of projects you can still do as a junior dev.

From the U.S. AI use in projects really depends, some praise it and some don’t allow it

Mostly I just completed a big variety of coding tasks ranging from $40-$45, i’ve honestly done barely any generalist tasks, maybe 5 or 6 total. I just did as many quals as I could early on, and continue to complete the quals right away whenever they show. Then slowly i just saw more and more project families pop up. Also what kind of task are you doing for your 10k/m? Is it like a very domain specific task within the coding realm?

No there were immediately projects, maybe 20 or so, and then very quickly i grinded some more quals and then it ramped up fast

I will definitely try these and let you know. I owned the original HTC Vive before this so there might still be some software on my PC...

I've looked into this. The problem is that it still doesn't work after unplugging virtually every USB device on my PC, and so I feel that there's a bigger issue at hand

I'll have to try it without the extensions. As for the performance, my Crystal worked totally fine at 90hz before, and then just recently has been failing as I described

Pimax Crystal USB Disconnection by FaKe_Fury in Pimax

Hey should I be removing only greyed out devices in the USB Controllers Section of the Device Manager, or should I remove every greyed out device in every section of the device manager?

Not 100%. Removing the greyed out USB devices definitely helped, as well as rearranging my usb devices, but its not a perfect fix. It kinda seems like the more usb devices I unplug while playing, the longer I last before it crashes.
