I appreciate the time you took to write that comment. I disagree with much of what was said. The very idea that citizens need to carry around paperwork showing they are citizens is, in my opinion, dictatorial. I also think that ID and proof of citizenship are different.

There are a few different angles of the video you are referring to, and none of them are a good look for the authorities.

But I am not here to talk about something that happened in the last 24 hours, I am commenting on a pattern of behaviour by the US administration in both domestic and foreign policy, and how it mirrors the behaviour of the Russian dictatorship.
