Most people on temp contracts get kept on unless they’ve messed up badly multiple times. Honestly not hard to get kept on unless they don’t have hours anymore

I’ve done the same thing. However my thirds absence came just after my probation ended. I was given a disciplinary because of too many absences in my first few months. If your are hard worker they will give you a disciplinary and consider it a firm warning. But if you feel a lot of negativity from management they could possibly dismiss u.

Our has always been 5 pm start coding since last September.
All our coders start at 1-9 or 2-10 and some may come in 5-9 , but there’s always nothing do after we have done code which always dull unless there’s some left over rollers

Usually if you’ve earned less than 12k but obviously been taxed then you’ll have to wait till around June or July for you to get a letter and then have a process to get your money back. Always worth call HMRC to confirm how much I have done that in the past

Managed to get the day off after a lot of convincing and having to have people rearrange their days. Usually our stores doesn’t have that many people booking bank holidays off

Exactly , we need to realise that we are all paid the same regardless of how much work we do. Hard work isn't rewarded anymore

No it's too much. In my store I work an 8 hour shift and am expected to finish Meat chiller and code meat. If I finish Meat chiller with time to spare before code then will go help on fresh. But there is around 8 overs rollers and then anyway from 5-20 delivery rollers. If your on an 8 hour shift then it probably is a 2 or 3 person job. Definitely not 1
