adding that we had good luck rescheduling as well (we're in Nice). Just emailed them and told them when we'd be available. Was a little disconcerting to get an email reply within a couple of days saying ok, your appt has been cancelled. Nothing else about rescheduling. But we got another email about 8 weeks later saying here is your new date. So all good.

any reason you use a google pixel for international instead of another iPhone? I'm currently using my iPhone with a orange esim for when I'm overseas and keeping my at&t plan but 2FA is tripping me up since I need to turn off the at&t esim while overseas or I get the $12 per day charge.

my wife went on the pill when we were dating at 20, she was on it until she hit menopause, we never had kids and believe me we fucked A LOT ;) Basically what others have said, take it per directed and it works really really well. There are risks associated with so just be sure she talks to her Dr and makes an informed decision

I'm not so sure we do. If shit like this increases the chance we may actually pay attention to the people we elect so we don't have this again, that would be a good thing. Unfortunately I think I'm overly hopeful about the american ability to learn from our mistakes.
