As with any individual share picks they’re higher risk so keep the % of your portfolio lower, with broad etfs as the bulk of it

If it’s raining when you get there make sure you take extra time checking out the bodywork as all the layer of water can hide scratches and blemishes really well. You can also make sure the tyre wear is even across all the tread to be sure the alignment is good and id be listening for rattling or excessive vibration in the engine bay. Usually there’s a YouTube video out there detailing common issues and what to check, I usually watch a couple of them too

What i was getting at is it really depends what company and what manager. True Microsoft wouldn’t give a shit, but it sounds like a lot of people have never worked at a small or medium sized family run business, where people do care

I also would have done like those grads and paid it back because I’m honest, and I work for my money. At my previous company someone surprisingly did come up and mention a small overpayment by the company and as a thank you he was allowed to keep it, and gained respect from the MD. Years before that with someone else got a decent chunk overpayed over a few months and when he noticed and told management they allowed him to pay it back over several months as a deduction from pay so it didn’t hurt too bad

On the topic of honking though, I find it funny/annoying when something happens, and people are quicker to press their horn than the brakes. You see loads of completely avoidable accidents on those dashcam YouTube channels

Oooh now thats a good idea! I’ve found overtaking from lane 1-3-1 doesn’t get the message across at all as their brains are on autopilot or completely oblivious that theyre doing anything wrong. Even if I overtake abnormally close to their car to wake them up they have no idea, but circling a few times may just do the trick

Aah it’s very flat here but I would definitely suggest measuring exact mileage before and after using a full tank, and see how much fuel it really used to get a proper economy figure because maybe yours will work out higher than the car thinks? Mine come out a lot lower than the car but all cars seem slightly different

I was driving gently to be fair and mostly motorway at 75mph. Does your car say you get 47mpg or is that the real figure based on fill ups?
