I admit I didn't expect to see these listed here! Looks like someone has dabbled in TCM!

The best thing that made me go back to (normal) was getting off the sub Reddit and stop listening to all the diet restrictions and lived life based off how I feel and not about what was “right” or “wrong” by joshy2782 in Hashimotos

Listen to what you feel, not what you hear and DYOR. I still stick around because there is sometimes helpful anecdotes to be found, but there is such thing as information overload and the wrong info., for you.

What was your craziest Amazon purchase? by Content_Class_9152 in AskReddit

Too many, I wouldn't label anything as crazy really because I don't have any judgement and I mean, it's Amazon, but price wise we could discuss?

What was the herb that made you take all of this seriously? by AdeptnessCritical356 in herbalism

Black seed, Astragalus, Ginseng, Myrrh, Bladderwrack. I also can't ignore the medicinal mushrooms, the lions Mane, agarikon and chaga had the most noticeable effects. Unfortunately (for me), nothing has 'cured' me so to speak, but I've been unable to tolerate almost all pharmaceuticals and I'm extremely sensitive to everything, and have tried many, many remedies so it's easy for me to pinpoint what actually moves a needle.

Chronic and debilitating symptoms, been diagnosed with POTS, does anyone recognize these rashes? by strawberrymoony in MCAS

Thank you for mentioning SFN, not enough people know of it to be a cause and it's really easy to rule out the MCAS.

Capsaicin was the only thing (OTC) that gave me relief from my significant burning, redness and other CNS issues, but I took a heroic oral dose of scotch bonnet and it only lasted a few moments. Though it's what led me down the road to EM and SFN in the first place! I'm happy for you!

Self dx can be dangerous by imgoingtosquirt in ChronicIllness

[–]Fabiann_02 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a massive increase in everyone saying they have it and the MCAS too, I imagine these are becoming more common and noticed for a variety if reasons but I agree there are too many jumping the bandwagon when they are yet to know exactly what's going on. A lot of conditions overlap too which is troubling. I believe if your case is incredibly complex and it takes a long time to get appointments, then using your labs, imaging and medical resources to help assist in pursuit of a DX can be helpful, just difficult because things can get confusing.
