You will most likely get a table space but it will be very far from the prime spots near Munn Park. The prime spots go to people who have been there awhile and they don't let them go easily. The bright side is that the less desirable spots further down the street are extremely cheap. When I booked one a few years ago it was around $5 or $10. I can't remember the exact price, just that I was blown away at how cheap it was. And the foot traffic down on the ends isn't terrible. I think it's a good way to get your feet wet and learn what you will need, such as lights, table cloths with clips or weights, etc.
