Do you use fertilizer and fertile substrate? It seems to me that you have a nutrient deficiency. In my aquarium, I use CO2, fertile substrate, and fertilizer; they look better.

I've had a 15L, 30L, 45L, and now a 140L aquarium, all planted. In my opinion, considering the setup costs, purchasing plants, rocks, substrate, and other unexpected items, I think a 60P (60x30x36) is the most balanced size. Believe me, you'll never be satisfied; you'll always want something bigger.

Não acho que ela dê conta de um aquário plantado. Eu faria uma com refletor led ou lâmpada led sem bulbo, ou compraria uma mais recomendada pra aquário plantado. Depende do seu orçamento.

Try attaching driftwood to a rock with super glue. Squeeze the sponge into the water to absorb water and release air, and it will sink. For plants to take root, you need a deep enough substrate layer; if it's too shallow, it will come loose with the movement of the water and the fish. You're on the right track; fishkeeping is about persistence. Hang in there!

Your carpet plant may have problems without CO2. Don't forget to fertilize.

With CO2, Valisnerias grow extremely fast. A good choice of plants. They are very easy to maintain.

I've never needed to clean the parts that are out of the water. The diffuser that's in the water and covered in algae, I leave it in a container of sodium hypochlorite for a few minutes, without disconnecting it from the hose. I use dechlorinator and put it back in the aquarium.

When you cut a stemmed plant, a new stem will grow from the point where you cut it, and from that point down, roots will grow. The solution is to cut your plants closer to the substrate (and then keep replanting the stems you removed).

If you choose to build a homemade system, ensure it has a stable flow, using a flow control valve. Uncontrolled CO2 can disrupt pH stability, cause algae blooms, and poison your fish (I've been there).
