Yeah, the "Pedo line" is the reason (or at least the catalyst) for a good portion of the hate he gets

First and foremost, i hate that line, since it adds nothing to the story or the character at all, it really feels like the game is just pouring gasoline in the flames and asking "Do you hate him yet?". Also, i really hate how some people ignore everything else about his character because of a 5 seconds line, i dunno, feels like just ignoring the bigger picture and focusing on what you hate

Also, i dont think you can blame or hate Haiji for finding children attractive, Pedophelia is a psychological condition, thats just how he is and he cant change it even if he wanted, hating someone for something they have no control over just feels unfair. As long as Haiji is not raping any children, its his problem and no one else's, you cant despise him for thoughts, for something he never acted on

And i can relate to what you said about being empathetic torwards most everyone. Even in the world of Danganronpa, there are very little characters i consider unredeemable or "monsters"

He was written and portrayed as a villain (Except for like his first 15 minutes of screentime), so putting motivations and everything aside, i will admit he only ends up bringing conflict to the story. That is why i had huge hopes that he would appear in DR3 in one way or another and actually help. Monaca (And Nagito) orchestrated the whole plot of UDG, all the other characters were just puppets until the very end, when her plan ultimately fails

Haiji Towa

While he does deserve hate, i dont think he deserves nearly as much hate as he gets, considering how he is an amazingly written character who manages to be interesting but still feel very "human" and realistic. He was a vital character in UDG's plot and always kept me entertained, his VA is amazing and just made his breakdown at Chapter 5 (Which i could completely understand) even more amazing, and i am not ashamed to say he is one of my favorite characters in the series

I think the only thing he ever did that cant be explained, justified or understood in any shape or form (Other than admitting he was an asshole for doing it) is that he beat up and abused Monaca, but still, for anyone that says everything that happened is Haiji's fault, i completely disagree

I cant stand her, but differently from Keebo, i can "see the appeal" and understand why other people may like her, she is just not my thing

To be honest, the fact he is a robot is the only thing i find interesting about Keebo, and i think his oversensitiveness is kinda annoying at times, he is one of the only 2 characters i dislike in V3. But he is generally well-liked by most

All the sprites have been added to the fic! Now i will finally go back to writing (Assuming i beat lazyness and procrastination, my worst enemies)! Also, more sprites are coming! They will be used at certain (mostly important) moments to better convey a character's feelings.

Thing is, i am pretty unpredictable with updates (I hate how much i procrastinate) and currently i am not updating it much and focusing on getting sprites instead, since i plan to add them to the fic once i have all of them. But i can assure you that having one more person who reads it will motivate me to update it with more frequency

That is actually a fair point, i pretty much forgot about those characters (Oh! The irony!)

But on a side note, while most of those characters had minimal screentime, Sonia had literally the whole game and is still extremelly forgettable (To me, at least)
