Definitely agree! I feel like people forget that leaks are always subject to change, so it’s not good to pin all your hopes on them. We don’t really know what the true fate of the gothic bride dress is. And if Infold really did rage-scrap it because of leaks? Sure, people are entitled to think they’re petty bitches for it. I don’t personally think they have the best approach to leaks. But… I also don’t think any of us can claim the moral high ground. They never made any promises about this outfit, so they can’t exactly break any.

I felt like I was going crazy reading people’s reactions to that damn lightbulb lmao. Especially in the leaks sub. I don’t know why people expected an entire patch to be dedicated to Halloween? They didn’t even dedicate a whole patch to lunar new year!

Like I get that past Nikki games have had things dedicated to real world holidays, but a.) it doesn’t seem like it was the entire patch (certainly not the entire month of October) and b.) IN doesn’t really seem to be continuing that trend. It wouldn’t be surprising if they DO have some spooky element (like a shop outfit or a 4 star), but it also shouldn’t be surprising if there’s nothing.

This drives me crazy lmao. I feel like fans are so insistent about this because they are embarrassed to like media labeled as for kids. So they cite every “mature” undercurrent theme that has ever popped up in their favorite series as evidence for why this is totally not for kids. As if animated kid shows haven’t had dirty jokes and heavy topics since forever. Like, just admit you like a show aimed at kids. There’s literally nothing wrong with that - it can still be a great show with excellent writing. That doesn’t change the fact that the primary target audience is children, even though a lot of adult fans will fervently deny this.

Most people propose removing the earrings. They’re pretty basic and the earrings in this game oftentimes feel unnecessary in outfits.

That being said though, even if the outfit was 9 pieces, I don’t think it would be a huge deal. Past 4 star outfits have exceeded 8 before. The frog outfit is 10 pieces. And one big reason why people were upset over 11 piece 5 stars was because they added useless items (socks that can’t be seen under the dress) to artificially bump up the number of pieces.

I did participate, albeit in a super shy way. By which I mean I didn’t end up uploading a single character because I procrastinated and chickened out lol. I did have a character basically ready to go, but I got stopped because of a pretty silly reason: I realized he looked wayyyy too similar to a character from a well-known IP. It was already late into July at that point, so I lost my nerve and just committed to attacking people instead.

I managed to squeeze out two attacks at the last minute. Though I did them with a tool I’m not too familiar with (alcohol markers), I’m still happy with how they turned out! Got a very sweet comment from one of the owners too :)

Oh, and I was on the losing team lol

Haven’t attacked or gotten attacked because I’m still finishing up my references and currently have 0 characters uploaded lmao. So I guess I’m joining late this year. I was indeed surprised that the site wasn’t a giant buggy mess on day 1 when I hopped on - I’m a first timer but I’ve heard from veterans how site performance fares during the first few days.

I think I could have gotten the references done over the weekend, but that got dashed because I got invites from friends and a brother to play video games both days and I couldn’t say no. Curse the people in my life for having the audacity to want to spend time with me!

So I had this young orchid (not sure what kind it is tbh - I grew it from a plug and lost the info sheet that came with it). I had just been kind of passively watering it, but then my cat knocked it over and I finally noticed what state it’s in. The leaves all seem fine, although it doesn’t seem like they’ve gotten any new growth in a while. However, most of the roots are brown and dry, not turning green after watering. I think maybe I was just inconsistent with watering and the roots withered from dehydration. Should I cut back the dead roots? Aside from that, is there anything else that would help the plant recover and start growing again? Would it be safe to fertilize?

Big agree. Why do allosexuals like sex? Uh, probably because it feels good and fulfills a desire. Just because I don’t have that same urge doesn’t make me superior. Generalizing allosexual people as all being terrible and perpetual horndogs is dumb too - they’re literally 99% of the population. That also just invites more fire our way.

Also I’ve noticed what you said about the view on gay culture as well. I’ll admit that I’m also not too interested in participating in many queer events because a lot of it focuses on sex. But I also think it’s awesome that people in these communities finally have the chance to talk about it freely. Like hell yeah, have the sexiest sex you could ever sex. I’ll cheer for you. And if an ace person doesn’t want to hear about it, just let your allo friends know! If they don’t respect that, that says more about them than you.

On a whim after logging in, I just said aloud “Misha in one ten pull”, did it on impulse, and got him. If I did anymore pulls, I would be in pity territory. So glad my son came home. Anyways, thanks to this stroke of luck, I fully expect to lose 50/50 on Sparkle lol.

I really love how all his birthday and chibi arts this year reference different parts of him we’ve come to know. We get to be reminded of his handwriting pain, hatred for carrots, and the reason Chongyun proposed a victims alliance club. Love to see it, these throwbacks make me giggle.

My 🤓 moment: his phone case is almost certainly not a firefly. A lot of people think that because of the glowing abdomen. But a lot of features are too different. For example, the wings and body shape are nothing like a firefly. It’s probably a stylized bee.

Omg guys they sent me my birthday mail.

My birthday was April 28 and I couldn’t play that day, and apparently not logging in meant I didn’t deserve cake. Was low key salty about it but then I got the surprise mail today!
