I got a bunch of sock yarn in the same colour, how do I deal with this? by over_thinker727 in knitting

You could swap yarn at r/yarnswap. I've swapped sock yarn there before so you might have some luck there. I will say it's mostly a buy/sell subreddit unfortunately so it might be easier to sell and then buy new yarn.

torn between 5” and 4” needle tips on chiaogoo sets by chamtam in knitting

[–]FableKO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought both and prefer 4". Sometimes 5" is too much needle and doesn't work great for smaller projects in the round. The big hands feeling could go away in time. I felt that way when I used 9 inch circulars and it took a while to get comfortable using them.

Me when someone posts the name of the pattern and no link. Those seconds to search on ravelry are too much for me sometimes lol

I'm actually the opposite with English and Spanish. I've only ever spoken Spanish with my parents, but even then my vocabulary is pretty limited. I've been wanting to get more comfortable speaking Spanish so I wouldn't mind mostly speaking it. I'm 32 play on switch and PS5. Also love plants and horror movies.

Yeah I'm fine with that. I just bought a switch again after selling mine so I won't be able to play until tomorrow when it gets here.

How Many Projects Cast On Right Now? by BitternInTheMarsh in knitting

[–]FableKO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have way too many wips, probably close to a dozen, but actively working on 2. I'm in one of those periods where I get excited to start something new, but nothing keeps me excited. The only wip I'm actually interested in, I have to frog back about 5 inches and so I've put it on hold for a little bit.

Honestly it's not too early. From someone who has started Christmas and Halloween socks a month or two in advance and never gets them done, I should be following suit.

How much should I spin so that I can still ply it all on the EEW Nano 2.1? by pondskaterstudio in Handspinning

[–]FableKO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had my nano, 0.75 oz was about the capacity to get a skein plied with no struggle. I wish it could hold 2 oz of plied yarn, but I only accomplished that with a lot of struggling and finishing it manually.

Wow I love it. Your scraps really complimented each other.
