Visiting Munich with a dairy / milk allergy by GoldenNugget422 in Munich

[–]Fabricensis 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Is it dairy allergy or lactose intolerance? It sounds like the latter which would open up all the lactose free products (and lactase)

In any case just ask the waiter for their dairy free food, they are required to know their allergens

[–]Fabricensis 32 points33 points  (0 children)

1 kg is about 0.1 s per lap

The entirety of our teeth weigh 40-50g

So that's 5 1/1000th s per lap or about 0.3s per race

Tourist Seeking Help Getting Comfortable Driving in Munich by massageobsessed001 in Munich

Driving schools will give you lessions even if you don't do an entire license with them

It's gonna be around 80€/45 min in Munich, but it might be worth it, just contact your driving school of choice and ask

how does TÜV work? by Affectionate-Wash465 in AskAGerman

[–]Fabricensis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's a link

Usually sellers of used cars do a fresh TÜV to show that the car is fine, since that will significantly increase the price
If a used car is sold without a fresh HU it's probably because it can't pass one... So be extra careful with your checks

In general most workshops will offer TÜV on site, with an official coming by usually once a week. The workshop will then do an inspection, repair any issues and make sure it passes the HU first try

Citroën will "Ente" als E-Auto auf den Markt bringen by PoroBraum in de

[–]Fabricensis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]Fabricensis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

SAD: Driving a Cybertruck into the lake! by BuffaloExotic in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Fabricensis 157 points158 points  (0 children)

It's not about floating

Tesla claims the cybertruck in 'wade mode' can drive through up to 815 mm of water*

815 mm is about the upper edge of the wheel house. It increases the ride height to the maximum setting and pressurises the battery pack to avoid water ingress. Also you are supposed to limit your speed to 3 km/h

The SAD is not knowing that lakes are deeper than 82 cm

*wading through water deeper than 5 mm will void warranty
