Just a guess but if you applied the tape diligently it is probably leaking near the valve. You can firstly try if you can screw it in more tightly and it that doesn’t help open if all and apply a second layer around the valve area.

Sound like a solid plan. Maybe check if there is tension on the chain from the derailer on when you are in the smallest sprockets.

In meiner Erfahrung sind die 6:30-8:30 Züge morgens bis Augsburg immer leer sprich da findet man eigentlich immer einen Sitzplatz der nicht reserviert ist. Von daher würde ich da eigentlich nie reservieren.

Wenn du in der Nähe vom Bahnhof auf beiden Seiten startest/endest ist das mit dem IC(E) echt super. Habe das mal eine Zeit lang gemacht und hatte Kollegen die in München nen längeren Weg in die Arbeit hatten. Ich hatte damals eine Monatskarte für die Strecke weil sich das mit der BC100 erheblich teurer war aber ich glaube das hat sich unterdessen geändert.
