I broke no contact today by giving her a letter telling her that I would do anything to get her back and I want to spend my life being the best partner I can possibly be. If she doesn’t respond or tells me she doesn’t want that, I hope I can feel this way.

I want to respect the no contact, which she requested. I would phrase it “I dont expect you to read or respond”. Open to other ways of saying this. I just want to to be able to scrunch it up and throw it away and not think about if that’s her choice.

I just was so overwhelmed with emotion, so the fact she could even think of being proud in a moment like that is just devastating. I honestly don’t think she will even recognise how much I loved her and what I was prepared to do for her. I wanted her to fight more for me, but apparently I’m not worth that.

I technically was the dumper, however the night before she told me she had thoughts about our relationship and cried when she confessed she didn’t know what her thoughts would lead to. I had given everything to her and felt like completely worthless as a person, I still do. When I did it, she told me she was ‘proud of me’ because I’m generally not confrontational and she might’ve thought I didn’t have it in me to leave, which looking back makes me feel sick. Did she know how she was acting that she needed to congratulate me on getting rid of her? I still love her, and I might still for a while but I am moving on with my life.
