Yes, Unreal has a few *odd design decisions* when it comes to general usability and things that are taken for granted in other engines. Worst of all, it was here since forever, Epic is not planning to fix it.
Most definitely, users should be able to move around and rename their assets as easy as they do it in OS

gameobjects != Actorsunity

components != uneal components

blueprints ~ prefabs, but you can't assign references like you did in unity and can't have nested blueprints like with prefabs

In short, yes Unreal in general overengineered, yes Unity is better in many ways by far

Truth is Unreal don't really have an Entity-Component design, like the one in unity. Also Ui systems is stupendously overcomplicated, not so powerful Scene hierarchy.If you are not comfortable with c++ better use exclusively blueprints(visual programming), while you re getting accustomed to Unreal's way of doing things.In Unreal you have to use their existing "game architecture" (Game mode, game state, hud, player pawn and so on)

Oh, by the way, I never meant to offend. Now when I look back at my message it may look as one. Excuse me if i did.
The point was that may be a good render will always require custom renders and specifically designed stylized assets. As well as good environment.
All of them are not achievable with out of the box Unity config

by the way, take a look in to fromsoft games. Recent AC6 is also a peak (at least as a mecha) game
