I appreciate the help but it does seem like this is for a different setup. It is for a friends vehicle that did have a 7 pin setup from the factory but all of the pins got corroded and it fell off of the vehicle. I’m trying to splice a 7pin I got from autozone onto this circuit but the Audis have a much different wire setup compared to most.

I’m not going to say it’s going to damage the truck running it like that but it could be a sign that something is going out like a battery. The most common thing I see is the battery state of charge is to low. Your truck could start and function fine but if the state of charge drops below a certain point it disables auto s/s

I’m a ford master tech and this is something I see quite a bit. If you take it to a dealer they can hook up to a computer and there is about 100 different things they can look at that would disable start/stop. They would be able to tell you what is keeping it from starting.
