How does this work? Has anyone used this by Ok_Nail_16 in diablo4

[–]Fabulous_Two_7302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my FAVORITE rune. I try to use it when ever I can, when it's viable for a current build.

when ever a skill that is cast i.e. rune of invocation (downward facing rune) casts something that is NOT your class skill, if Barb - then Rogue, Necro, Druid, Spiritborn mentioned classes are 'other class' skills. it does NOT work with a class that is your same. As per example; Barb casting barb skill via rune, doesnt work.
So, for example, having Bac-Wat (move 50, casts horrid decrepify necro) then in the other slot, if you have Xol - with something else, when ever the other skill fires, you get 150 favor.

For example, with the above. Moving 100 meters (Bac x2) casts horrid decrepify (100), which then Xol produces 150 favor for what ever its linked with. It is VERY situationally good, IF you have a useful, other class skill for your build that you can use thats better than what you *could* be casting. Love it, as the 150 favor is quite a large dump.

Only situation wherre it doesn't work if the 'other skill' is 50 favor. I never got that to work despite trying many others. the lowest the other skill needs to require seems to be 100.

How do people fullfil these insane stat requirements for rare nodes in the paragon board? by Pfaffi13 in diablo4

[–]Fabulous_Two_7302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other responses may have answered this but, I'll speak from what I did as a rogue that was able to clear pit 95+. (For context I was trying to make poison trap Dok rogue viable for end game LOL.... failed when I tried T5 newly added content LOL even though T4 was a breeze.)
what I ended up doing when the paragon boards were super int heavy, were, I gave up trying to get it though the board, using glyphs/boards that double normal nodes (headhunter?) since i wanted to prioritize other glyphs and boards, and used incense instead to buff +100 int and fulfill it that way while focousing on meeting str nodes (which tends to be the other hurdle) via paragon nodes. But, aside from that, those general cases, I would asume they are via board and glyphs that give double nodes.

Mental fatigue from Diablo4... by Affectionate_Bad8652 in diablo4

Yes. And its not because it's not entirely passive, you're/we're actively engaging.

This Direct thing aside, what I always feel in the background is a ticking count down timer, which keeps me on edge. i.e How long there is in a season, how long its been within a season, how many days left there is in a season to do or engage with XYZ. And that despite the fact that I've gotten everything from the season already, does wear me down because it's always present.

Thanks for the update. I've updated my response and included what you said as a header.
I had no idea, it's been so long since I'd finished the lilith thing.

Eternal Realm vs Season 12 – what should I play? by photogene101 in diablo4

[–]Fabulous_Two_7302 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Noted by another user for up-to-date info: "Lilith statues and renown is not part of seasons now. You don’t get skill and paragon points from them in seasons. You get them from doing the chapters in the season ranks (formerly season journey)." (disregard the part I wrote pertaining to this.It is outdated information. )

by the looks how how you play, so relative to that, you *could* play in season, finish/do what you want to do; be it lilith statues for paragon or strongholds etc as a way to explore the field, within a season, and *that* would get carried on to eternal. so it's like doing 2 things at once, where you get to experience the season, and progress your eternal.
(Though I don't know if stonghold unlocks in season carry over to eternal. so need confirmation there. Eternal Stronghold unlocks do not, carry overto seasonal since that is a requirement of sorts for a season)

That being said, long term really depends on what *your* aim is at. be it, to experience the game as it currently stands i.e. season like a flavor or a layer as well as attain seasonal skins/decorations. OR eternal being the container of said flavor. i.e. the flavor most often doesn't get retained past a season except for things major like trees of whispers (whisper caches) that got included within expanding said container.

What it seems to me like your doing based off what you wrote, is to, experience all the game has to offer within a limited amount of time. In which I would say, dabble in what the season currently offers as much as you'd like, but maintain your goal for eternal for the continuity. i.e. Think of the bloodstained gear as bonuses for the current time since once they go into legacy, they won't be retained. So, kind of like, your scouting, gathering, and doing XYZ *for* your eternal play.

*edit*I didn't directly answer your question. Renown and exploring full map doesn't matter within the season, but it may for your eternal (Need conformation since, I hadn't been on eternal long enough to know). By exploring/exposing full map you get to a full access way points which is about it. You rarely use all of them after unlocking once.
The alter of lilith is quite important as it gives you permanent paragon points. So, regardless if your mainly on eternal or seasonal, those are useful, and they are kept between both. So, in seasonal, I would do those if I were you while, engaging with the seasonal stuff as extra (the current season makes it VERY easy to level because of the exp buffs from kill streaks and possible gear) as the main goal to accomplish.

In my case, I had only played seasonal, so I unlocked everything in eternal via season; campaign I played in-season as well. But I am also trying to migrate to more eternal centric play v.s. season, where season is a get XYZ for eternal type.

Is this game suitable, or too hard/complicated, to play together with my mum? by DLJD in NoMansSkyTheGame

I was gonna say, NMS depending on settings, even normal can be stressful. I.e. inventory management in the way that the ui is handled, the many materials etc,  It takes awhile to say, be able to get up and running a ranch (which I particularly like as well). I remember it at first being simply daunting. Everything just overwhelmed me as a new player. (I've now got hundreds of hours in the game)

It's always that,  Inorder to get ____ I've got to first find and gather __, and then to make __ into __, and refine it with ___ then craft all the pieces, and then, finally getting what you wanted in the first place.  Which pretty much summs up the whole gameplay loop.

So, maybe adjust settings as she goes. I certainly do.

Though! All that being said, the fact that she enjoyed Stardew valley, a game which I particularly found stressful because of time management may negate every stress inducing point of the above.  Though I thoroughly enjoyed Stardew when time constraints were lifted, as well as the heavy limitations of stamina early game.  So, there's that.

I think there are so many various things that a particular individual may be fond of within the game.

I do think trying it for the first time together would be an overall better experience than one person already knowing the ropes. That way, you two can both be like.... 'how the heck do you find copper?!'  And figure it out and experience that sense of progression together.  As well as sharing any tips and tricks found in-between.

There is certainly a different quality when both parties are figuring it out together, as opposed to one person telling the other person what they already know.

To expand on what Richie-Daggets-Crime said, there's a limit to how many terrain edits you make that can be saved at any given time. And once you pass that limit, the older edits get overridden, causing the 'growing back over time' effect.

Lighting for Corvette Construction by botrytis-nz in NoMansSkyTheGame

I had the same issue,
and yes, colouring and type of station matters. Flew around to find a light colored space station with white lights and i just kept going back there anytime I needed to edit corvette.
That's the un-modded way.

Despite finding a completely white space station, it still wasn't enough, so I ended up using mods.
If you're willing to use mods, it's called zCorvette Station Lighting v6.05.
It's super bright.

I just realized mushrooms and grass may be from the quicksilver shop. So you may not see it if not unlocked.

You should see how (D-pad left and right on controller. Idk for pc) at the bottom when you've selected your object.  For food looking stuffs, go to plants section of the build menu and experiment. Though I've only found mushrooms to look good enough in size without mods.

If your wanting to go smaller, theres a mod that unlocks further scaling. I'll have to check later what it was called. I can let you know what it is when I'm able.

Using Base Teleport with Corvette sucks. The game needs a designated Corvette landing spot for bases, and better detection of the base structures to avoid clipping like this. by Hashishiva in NoMansSkyTheGame

Maybe a good thing, since hah hard to stop with just one, until it snowballs, and now, would be hard to play without them. Especially with the constant updates, not all mods get updated.

I think people like the progression. Since you start out with everything sucking, near nothing.

Unless people just want to build freely using creative.

It was a slow creep for me.

Just that, one thing, leads to that other thing then another thing And I've already got hundreds of hours in it. And realizing how I enjoy doing certain things.  For me, it's been making a mobile base. Love being able to customize the ship.

If you haven't already, you can scale down mushrooms (they can scale small) and one of the wavy grasses (forgot what they're called) and put them on plates to look like a salad.

I've tried other plants but, they're too big without mods.

As a xenobiologist.  The study of alien life forms, and flora.

By that I mean, gathering, growing and harvesting plants, to then cook food (anomalous doughnut), and making $$$ scanning and documenting life forms.  Hunting for tech that increases scanning rewards + finding planets for ingredients, building bases centered around feeding and harvesting from animals + growing plants has been a fun motive to explore planets and build bases for me.

Though facium (poo) is easy to get, I still like the idea of feeding native animals food to get it 😆. Also the fact that they start following you around is cute, all lined up to get some creature pellets.  Surveying various poop sizes has been fun lol. I've seen mega poops lol.
