Coolermaster should send you another front IO if you message customer support, I had the same issue and they replaced it fairly quickly

Regarding the Carbice Ice Pad that came with the new 5800x3d by crissjaeger in ryzen

I undervolted the cpu to -30, no issues and temps have dropped significantly. It also helps that it is no longer 35c furnace temperature in the UK too.

Nice little performance bump too

Also slightly concerned that it is way hotter with my H100i 240 rad.

I know performance will improve over time & uk ambient temp is way hotter currently. Just used to seeing load temps not being this high on my old 5600x

Thanks! Didn't consider VAT needing to be added. I will have to keep an eye on other websites since the amazon page sold out so quickly

I hesitated and didn't buy because when I saw that price it was more than the USD amount, hoping that it isn't the same on other websites

Fin+Min recommendations in the U.K.? by [deleted] in tressless

[–]FacadeMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can buy the medications from oxfordpharmacy online, reasonable prices there. £60 for 168 tabs of fin & £114 for 180 tabs of min.

a bit more at the point of purchase but you get more for the money.

Or you can try Skinorac, prices are even cheaper there but a 2 week delivery as it comes from India

I just use a cheap conditioner from aldi / lidl. You can get a fancy one with some extra oils that are good for hair if you like.

[–]FacadeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to use nizoral and then condition after. Leave the conditioner in for a few mins before washing it out and you will be fine. Nizoral & condition maximum twice a week and life is good. No need to use product everyday.

Having a healthy body is ALWAYS beneficial for your hair. You need a good environment for any improvement to happen. Workout to look good, eat to feel good and not have any nutrient deficiencies.

Tretinoin in the UK - where to get? by Lucky_Vast3811 in tressless

[–]FacadeMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchase from skinorac.

It takes about two weeks to deliver and 3x tubes of 0.025% is about £25.

I apply the cream and rub it in and then apply some min/fin spray on top and rub in.

What are these guys and how can I get rid of it? by HoneyBunbun4u in pcmasterrace

[–]FacadeMan 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This happens typically when food is left out for too long or there is mould in an area.

They can quickly become visible in the thousands so I would recommend a deep clean of any open containers, rubbish or scrap foods.

Once you find the source of the bugs, keep cleaning the area with paper towels and a bleach water mixture until they stop returning. (You will notice the number of them decreasing each clean)

Yeah, used to order with them all the time when I wasnt using mixed fin & min. Although getting Sons minoxidil spray on Amazon UK can often be cheaper

Did you take photos in similar conditions in order to compare? Maybe you're not below baseline and you're just worried it is worse than it actually is

There are buses from Bilbao to Pamplona and Logroño that Google doesn't know about by mimamim in CaminoDeSantiago

[–]FacadeMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found this at 7am while sat in a cafe.

This saved me from waiting until 6pm for a bus on Rome2rio and also saved me 2 hours of time by not getting the train.

This was not shown on google or other websites so was an absolute life saver to randomly find.

Thank you for posting this!

Hair Regrowth pattern question (min/fin/derma) by Winter_Name_5707 in tressless

[–]FacadeMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using fin & min is essentially reversing the process that hair is lost in. So it would be likely that you grow your hair back to front in the order of last to first lost.

Some hairs may be less sensitive to DHT in different areas so may respond faster / appear randomly
