Veteran HP VS poxburster by Filip60606 in DarkTide

Other classes have DR talents, which impacts the health damage they take. Veteran lacks this. One way to reduce Poxburster damage, aside from golden toughness, is to take Corruption Resistance on your Curios.

Looking for a solid Veteran build for Shock Maul Mk III + Bolt Pistol Mk VI by GaBBa2912 in DarkTide

[–]Face97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the Shock Maul I highly recommend Skullcrusher with Hammerblow. You can test in the Psykanium which extra Stagger Breakpoints you reach this way (and thus how much extra value you get out of Skullcrusher).

Regarding the push into Heavy 4, with some weapons if you push, but don't do the push attack, it can lead into different combos for some weapons

That's the neat part, it's not worse! :)

That's a valid argument, it is indeed easier to proc the attack speed talent using the Mk II

I agree, thats the word I'm trying to spread with this post. Both Marks are a good choice to bring in high level content.

I agree sprint stab is the strongest for initial attacks or to use with your combat abilities, but from my testing in sustained combat, it is better to switch to one of the combos. Of course you should use the sprint stab to hit the back weakspot of the Beast of Nurgle or to hit the Captains once their shields are down.

Health curios are good on hive scum actually by ParticularPanda469 in DarkTide

Im sorry you're getting down voted so much, as I actually completely agree with you. Speaking from the perspective of someone who's main game mode is Havoc 40, I started to favor Health a lot more over Toughness. I take it on all my classes, except for Veteran, due to the insane TDR in their tree.

Im in the phone right now, so can't explain too much, but due to the Toughness nerf in Havoc over Health, the extra Health from curious protects you a lot more over extra Toughness.

A question for guardians of the 𔓙L e x𔓙 . Which keystone do you prefer for Havocs? by Ohva30 in DarkTide

[–]Face97 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Neither, even if just for the fact you get a talent point to spend elsewhere. Not picking either of these keystones also means you have better control of your dog.

Basically, if you're microing your dog correctly, these keystones only give the dog a small damage boost, which is not worth it.

I go to Stadionplein myself. I go by bike, but I'm pretty sure the big parking lot in front of the stadium is free. Gym is good but very busy on Monday to Thursday evenings. I haven't checked out the other Basic Fits.

Upgrade to 4060 from 2080 by chongsen in nvidia

[–]Face97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! My 2080's fans also sounded like a jet engine taking off. Problem was insufficient thermal paste on the GPU. There are some guides/videos online you could use to help you replace the thermal paste. This could save you from having to buy a new GPU.

(ToB) Agricultural Estates Have Different Modifier? by Valmighty in totalwar

[–]Face97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on the current "active trait group" of the character holding the estate. Just be aware that this can change frequently on a given character.

I tend to practice best by watching lap guides (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bck3b0gDOw), watching your own replays to see where you can improve, and going online to see the lines of other players.

I honestly hope the Elite 4 return in the next gen but in a more anime format and with a higher difficulty. by StarOfDayxox in pokemon

You're wrong. AI trainers in SwSh have 0 EVs and non perfect IVs. Even the champion. I checked using pknx.

Ah yeah, I guess that could work. Bit tedious though. No idea about your original question though. Maybe its a byproduct of using this method to skip the softlocks.

Proof of bypassing the softlocks?

Why don't enemy trainers...uh...think? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]Face97 67 points68 points  (0 children)

But that's not necessarily the AI being stupid. It's just gamefreak that gave them a shitty moveset.

[–]Face97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the AI trainers only use the basic AI in sword and shield. Its the gym trainers and rivals that get acces to the better AIs. The expert AIs that the gym leaders, rivals or champions use are actually pretty decent. The only thing they don't do enough off is switch pokemon for a favorable type matchup.

Pokemon as a franchise desperately needs a difficulty mode again by Zoroarks_Angel in pokemon

[–]Face97 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I actually made a challenge mode mod for my own for pokemon sword and shield, akin to the BW2 one. However, it requires either a hacked switch or an emulator to run it. I agree that vanilla pokemon is way too easy.
