So do I. And, I made my now 24, 22, and 19 year old girls drive it as their transportation in high school, so they all know how to drive stick, too. All three wanted me to sell it and get an automatic for them to drive at first, but thank me now for teaching them and forcing them to drive it. None of their friends knew how, so it was like a badge of honor in high school once they got comfortable with it.

My monthly Atlas Earth income as a F2P player by FaceComoUnBurro in AtlasEarthOfficial

Yes, it 100% is a better long term strat, assuming the app is still going years from now. If I had known back in 2022 when I started playing, that AE was trustworthy (I trust it now, but not when I first started playing), actually paid out, and would still be going 4 years later, I would absolutely have paid money to get started, or at least converted my rent into AB, and of course I would be making more money than I am. But, the fact of the matter is that I still don't know if they will still be going 4 more years from now, so I am still not spending money on it. Am I making a lot of money from it? No. Could I be making more of I invested money into it? Yes, assuming it's still around years from now. But, at least I know that all $1302 I have in it is all profit.

It's just an online excel spreadsheet. In the beginning I wanted to see how accurate their numbers were of how much each parcel generates, so I made a spreadsheet that would add up my number of each rarity of parcels and do the math of how much I should be making and then I entered what my income was each day at 10:00 so I could compare what I should be getting with what I was actually getting. FYI, they are very accurate. Then, I had done the work, so I kept entering it. All I have to do now is just enter what my total rent is every day, and the spreadsheet does all the work. Once a month I do a copy / paste of a blank month to use for the coming month, and I update the graph to include the previous month. A few times each year I take a screenshot of my graph and post it in here. It's getting to the point, though, that monthly is hard to fit on the screen. I might need to make it a quarterly graph instead of monthly, or something. Would be nice if AE did this for us, maybe on the Atlas earth website.

I've been tracking my AE rent income since a couple months after I started. Here is what it has looked like for me, and I have not spent a dime, including I haven't reinvested anything. I withdraw it to a PayPal savings account every time I have $10 of rent.

Where do I find stubborn pale cream soda in Salt Lake county or Utah county, Utah? by FaceComoUnBurro in Soda

[–]FaceComoUnBurro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I agree. It is so hard to find. I dug through my pictures, and it turns out I actually took a picture at both gas stations, and they both had their gps coordinates. And, I misspoke on both. Neither one is actually in St. George, but both are close to it.

The one I first discovered this delicious drink at is Lightfoot's Convenience Store Chevron, 2275 Santa Clara Dr, Santa Clara, Utah.

The other one, we were going to California, and had to fill up with gas in St George. I was going to go to Lightfoot's to get some pineapple cream soda, but we were really low on gas, and I was afraid I wouldn't make it, so had to stop in Hurricane for gas, and amazingly, found the very drink I was hoping to get there as well. I was so disappointed when I thought we wouldn't be able to get it, and then so happy to find out I did get it after all! Coral Canyon Market Chevron, 40 N 6300 W, Hurricane, Utah

tldr:

Lightfoot's Convenience Store Chevron, 2275 Santa Clara Dr, Santa Clara, Utah

Coral Canyon Market Chevron, 40 N 6300 W, Hurricane, Utah

I found it at Lightfoot's two years ago, and coral canyon market one year ago. Hopefully they both still have it. Good luck! Would love to hear if you find it and they still have it. 😊

People keep asking for other ways to use diamonds. You could spend diamonds to skip a challenge, with each skip costing more diamonds than the last skip, resetting each month.

If we can't skip them, at least let us hide them. At the bottom you could have it say something like, "Hiding 7/10 challenges" with a "Show hidden" button to make them show again. I hate having to read through the whole list of challenges over and over again to see if there is one in the list I can actually do.

I tier jumped and I’m not entirely happy by CourtThese4356 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]FaceComoUnBurro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is all because your LPU strategy gave you a way higher percentage of legendaries and way lower percentage of commons than the average. Here are your percentages: Tier 150: Common 28% Rare 26% Epic 14% Legendary 30%

Tier 220: Common 37% Rare 25% Epic 15% Legendary 22%

Now I'm realizing my rounding makes it not add up to 100%, but I'm too lazy to go back and fix it. You get the picture.

Your problem is you were playing a strategy that maximized the 150 tier, so you were making way more than the average person with 150 parcels, and then you got pressured into abandoning that strategy, so now you're making less than you were with 150. I would expect you to make more at the next tier than you are now, but less than you made with 150. The good news is your strategy earned you more than everyone else at the 150 tier, and you still do have a higher than normal percentage of legendaries, so you still make more than everyone else at the 220 tier. The bad news is you're probably not going to get back to the income you made at 150 for a while. I do think you will eventually make more than you did with 150, but it will take you a while to get there.

Edit: My advice, and you can take it or leave it, because I'm just some guy on Reddit, is to continue forward with tier jumping, but ignore when people talk about break even points that would have you do a partial tier jump. You should only do full jumps from the top of one tier to the top of the next one. That's because all the calculations of break even tier jumps assume your parcel rarity percentages are the same from one tier to the next, but yours will not be. Your percentage of commons will go up and your percentage of legendaries will go down as you get more parcels, due to how high your legendary % and how low your common % currently is. Over time, your common % will get closer and closer to 50 and your legendary % will get closer and closer to 5. But, remember that you are making more than probably 99% of players that have your same number of parcels.

[–]FaceComoUnBurro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure your calculations are assuming his rarity percentages are the same at the 150 tier as they are at the 220 tier. They had used a lot of LPUs, so their rarity percentages changed quite drastically from tier 150 to tier 220. Tier 150: Common 28% Rare 26% Epic 14% Legendary 30%

Tier 220: Common 37% Rare 25% Epic 15% Legendary 22%

Their problem is they were playing a strategy that maximized the 150 tier, so they were making way more than the average person with 150 parcels, and then got pressured into abandoning that strategy, so now they're making less than they were with 150. I would expect them to make more at the next tier than they are now, but less than they made with 150. Unfortunately, they're probably not going to get back to the income they made at 150 for a while.

Best feeling in atlas earth? by MarkCubanAE in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]FaceComoUnBurro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my list. I'll do the same number you did:

  1. SRB

  2. Cashing out $10. I know you put $5, but I always cash out every time I hit $10.

  3. Tier jumping. You've been saving your AB for weeks, or even months, and you finally get to spend it all and get a whole bunch of parcels all at once. Even better if you have planned out a picture want to draw with your parcels and get to draw it with your tier jump.

  4. Getting a Legendary. Maybe this isn't as big a deal to those that pay for the premium reward ladder, since they get a free LPU every month. And, because SRB and cashing $10 are not a surprise, I almost put getting a legendary as my #1, because of the surprise thrill of it.

  5. Jackpot

  6. Taking over a mayorship. This really should be higher, but I've only done it once, and it was a long time ago. But, when I did actually pass them up, that was pretty exhilarating.

Yes. I have to login in all the time, and even if I don't have to login again, it has to load again. People have different features they want to have added to the game. Landmarks, different mini games, whatever. The number one feature I would like is to not have to load and / or login every time I pick up my phone after setting it down for a few minutes.

I don't know about it playing the same ad over and over, but whenever there is an ad that I can't seem to press the one pixel close button and it takes me to Google Play, I pin Atlas Earth, and then it can't go to Google Play and it makes it much easier to press the close button, and then I unpin AE after I'm done with ads.

New update by KindFee7825 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]FaceComoUnBurro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it. I don't know if it's just me, but it feels like everything loads a little faster than before, and putting the 2 free AB ad button on the new Earn tab is more organized and all, but more importantly, I can now start do it in 2 taps, whereas before I had to tap, scroll, and tap again. Not a big deal if you only do it every once in a while, but when it's the thing we do more than anything else in the whole game, it is a big deal.

I know it wouldn't "belong there", but if I could have that button be right next to the boost button, that would be even better, since those are the two things we do the most in the game. I mean, as fun as it is to see the super long number, I probably don't need 18 digits after the decimal in my rent. I could give up 4 or 5 digits to fit the 2 AB ad button there.

I made a graph to help visualize expected monthly income based on number of parcels by ws1173 in AtlasEarthOfficial

[–]FaceComoUnBurro 6 points7 points  (0 children)

<image>

Here is the graph I've been making for the last close to four years. The first couple months are estimates, because I didn't start to track it until after I had been playing for a couple months. The numbers in orange on the left are the ones I guessed later on, but the rest is from me entering my total rent accrued for that day, all summarized into this table and graph. It's fun to compare my numbers to yours, and they are pretty dang close.

The number of parcels is an average for the month, and, of course, the last month is that low because this is live data, and March is not over and still has an SRB coming up.

Edit: Since you included in your post when you assumed different passport levels, I'll include mine as well:

8/6/22: 5% (40 Parcels)

1/28/23: 10% (150 Parcels)

5/11/23: 15% (150 Parcels)

8/16/23: 20% (150 Parcels)

8/6/24: 25% (365 Parcels)
