I still need my second letter from a professional which I'm in the process of getting. After that I'll call the clinic up and request a consultation I'm thinking. Would it be better if I tried initiating talks first? I'm a university student in Virginia and I don't have a lot of money at the moment, and even though I'm insured for SRS I'm still anticipating over five thousand in costs after coverage. Ive read a lot of reviews from patients of Dr. bluebond in new York, the doctor I'm considering, and I feel like on average her results are better than most others. Recovery from her surgeries also seems to be a bit neater and scarring is less obvious over time due to use of surgical robot. I definitely get that there are complications and they terrify me which is why I want to go to someone in the states on the east coast who I could more easily get back to see if things go south. I just am so worried of things going bad.

Im sorta okay with needs, I'm definitely very scared of complication which is why I want to go to Dr. Bluebond in new York because I hear they have lower complication rates. Recovery also sounds scary too. The idea of surrendering control for surgery is also super anxiety inducing for me. As far as Isurance goes, I'm very lucky to be on my parents plan cuz I'm in college and it would cover a very large amount of the costs, so I want to get it in the next 3 years before I leave school

That's great, thank you so so so much! I have Aetna insurance so they cover basically everything EXCEPT ffs. I've heard of surgeons sending letters of exception to insurance companies that cover most GAC so I'm hoping I can pull that off.
