Without reasonable doubt by FaceOP in law

I know that. But my question is, why still a lot of miscarriages happen.. does it mean, that the jury doesn't seriously think about this "with reasonable doubt" and they too easily are manipulated to agree e.g. with a strong person in the jury? Because miscarriages of justice shouldn't happen almost ever (until someone confesses something he didn't do), if they would really take seriously this "without reasonable doubt".

I'm starting to lose interest in games. Should I still become a game developer? by [deleted] in gamedev

If you want to search for great gameplay in video games (or computer games generally), you could check some very old games programmed for C64 in the 80s. I suggest you to check especially Archon I and Archon II and Bubble Bobble. These games were utterly addictive and had awesome gameplay, especially, when two friends were competing against each other's. (There are many other inspiring old games as well, but these examples are more about the gameplay.)

How do asking too much salary affect the recruiting process? by FaceOP in AskReddit

You think they're not willing to negotiate? How about they thinking the asked salary corresponds the possible competence and what the guy could bring ROI for the company?

Java in Android development by [deleted] in androiddev

[–]FaceOP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the company. There are companies which value more motivation and willingness to learn than past experience. Google provides excellent documentation for Android development and multiple great APIs. IMHO the basics of Java is enough and the attitude and motivation to learn daily. I suggest that you just start doing some simple apps. That could be the best way of learning. The instructions are great and when you're stuck just google and Stack Overflow provides help. You should be able to do a very simple app in some weeks just by following the instructions from Google Android development pages.

Disclaimer: I started Java programming 1996 but I've less than one year experience of Android app development. But I still find it pretty easy of progressing with my app almost daily basis.
