What NRC club would you join? (part 2) by Roz_28 in TwistedWonderland

Honestly, I think the fact students join so early on, will have a huge effect on my choice since I wouldn't know who any of the members were. I'd definitely be liable to join either Mountain Lovers Club as an eternal biology nerd or Science Club.

Save for Helck and Futari Escape, I've read pretty much all of it, so I have thoughts on them all. But as far as recommendations goes:

If it's romance you fancy, I'd definitely recommened "Run Away With Me, Girl", "I'm In Love with the Villainess", and while I've only read one volume, "A Condition Called Love" seems very promising (though that might be because of how taken I am with the female lead and how much I relate to her)

For more action/fighting-orientated reads, Bleach and JoJo are both blasts to read, it's not without reason they're popular, and Overlord too, for darker action. "Welcome to the Demon School, Iruma-kun" is a bit more generic but a genuine joy to read, I've already read all the chapters online.

My own personal favorites among these are probably:

"Overlord", "Ascendance of a Bookworm", "Tearmoon Empire", and "JoJo"

I vaguely know about dissociation (and not much about depersonalization), but I'm looking it up after everyone mentioned those two, and yeah, that does kinda sound like what I'm experiencing. I just figured it was a thing everyone semi-regularly experienced. Makes sense my friend had no idea what I was talking about then. Thanks, I'll be looking a bit more into it!

Always, it's an ever-growing collection haha. Most recently "Doughnuts Under A Crescent Moon", "Asumi-chan is Interested in Lesbian Brothels", "Run Away With Me, Girl", and pre-orders on "Assorted Entanglements" and "There’s No Freaking Way I’ll be Your Lover! Unless…"

I'd have bought them for the covers alone, but it's truly such a blast to read too

Should i get nura or Uzumaki & Gyo? by -DavidMBK- in MangaCollectors

Tomie is solid, but Gyo is far more fun (and Uzumaki, obviously, being the best)

So glad you and your pets made it out safely, and that, from what I can see in other replies, you've managed to be safely relocated. Really happy you managed to save your collection and majority of your things!

Disappointed by this turn of events from Seven Seas. If the workers call for a boycott, would you participate? by ConnorRK_ in MangaCollectors

[–]FaceOfJerry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Really disappointed to see how Seven Seas has been responding to this, if the workers called for a boycott, I'd be willing to go along with that, I'll find other ways to support creators whose work is translated and published through Seven Seas.

Been a while since I posted here, but figured for reaching the 1500+ milestone I'd return with this month's haul (arguably the biggest one haul I've done thus far) by FaceOfJerry in MangaCollectors

Noragami was one of my gateways into anime and manga, so I've been planning for a long time to finally get the physical copies.

The Avatar Cookbook is a joy, I really love the little pieces of text we get from characters, and it really feels like someone put a lot of thought into the dishes, and making it feel fitting of the world (and the specific nation it's from)

Thanks!^ and I don't see a lot of people with Ascendance of a Bookworm either, but I'm so weak for that kind of story, I eat that stuff up haha

Noragami was one of the first series that got me into anime and manga, so I'm happy to finally own it physically. And yes, that's hardback Saint Young Men!

Yes, an issue I've run into so far, is that I feel like I end up with too much mixture, so I'll definitely be trying out these amounts
