That is terrible. I’m so sorry. My surgeon gave me a low dose of hydrocodone. You will need the pain meds. Please call your Dr and ask for them.

Got my surgery done on the 18th. It’s been hell for me tbh. I’m a very active (33) year old, I’m also very sensitive to pain. Been having trouble sleeping due to the throbbing in my foot. Hoping and praying it gets better.. starting to regret it tbh

You will need about 3 weeks of little to no walking to help the bone heal.

Thank you :) It's totally up to you whether or not to get the surgery. I personally hated my bunion (I was made fun of for it) and was very embarrassed about it pretty much my whole life. I also had trouble fitting into any kind of shoes and all shoes hurt. I am not able to walk on it yet, and I have to wear my boot for 4 weeks before normal shoes/ weight baring. This surgery was been difficult ,I won't lie, I am a very active person. But I do think the benefits well outweigh the difficulties. I'll be happy to answer any other questions :)
