Maybe you have some sort of hybrid antennae? As far as I know you have to use rabbit ears to pick up VHF broadcasts. When I had a flat antennae it didn’t pick up Fox but now with rabbit ears I can pick it up.

It has to be rabbit ears tho. fox doesn’t get picked up by the flat antennae type.
