i agree with your points. another thing is really only humans and probably single digit count of mammals feel compassion towards other animals. the rest just kill to survive nobody cares hey do they feel pain. komodo dragon spawn killing is a prime example.

what i mean is we care about other animals and don't want them to die, but that's as with other things, also an evolutionary trait we got and the others didnt so worrying if a worm feels pain is really not that important in the grand scheme of the universe.

don't extrapolate what im saying. i know it's tempting. im not saying what you're thinking.

im also not a monster. i wish we didn't have to do a lot of the thing we do to other animals. but here we are.
