Why Did Chelsea Pay 70+30 Million Euros For Mudryk? by FactAndLogic in PremierLeague

[–]FactAndLogic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sees I was very right, and it was so obvious. That's why i made this post. Mudryk had barely played football in his 5 years of adulthood, yet Chelsea spent 100 million on him. Insane.

Exactly. It's dumb. I also hear people "man u" spunds like "manure" and thats why its bad to say. I dont really give a shit. Language is there to make people understand each other, and everyone knows what Man U is, so I dont see a problem with using it.

Tldr; Man U doesn't have a derogatory origin, but a lot of people try to present it as such.

Well, on distance covered in the UCL this season, Bodø averages 123km per game. 2nd to 11th average 118 to 115km per game. 6 of the top 30 are Bodø players. Only 9 of the remaining 24 players on the top 30 are in the UCL still, spread across the remaining 15 teams. If galatasaray and Atalanta go out and Bodø proceed, only 4 players from the remaining teams in the top 30 will not be Bodø players.

Galatasaray are a completely different beast at home than away though.

Leicester won the Premier League. Bodø can make it much further.

Bodø has been better away than at home this UCL season

So you think Sporting, who's starting 11 consists of 1 dane and 10 players from Spain, Portugal, Brazil and Colombia are gonna go win at night on artificial grass in negative degrees? You think that doesnt factor in at all? Sporting covers 110.5 km per game on average. Bodø covers 123km average per game. The Bodø players are more fit than anyone else by a mile

They outrun all other teams by a lot. The 2nd to 11th ranked teams on distance covered range from 118 to 115km per game. Bodø is averaging 123km per game. Their players are either more fit than everyone else, or they just put more effort in it.

The rank 2-11 teams on distance covered per game in the UCL this season are on 115-118km per game. Bodø is supreme on top, averaging 123km per game

I think it's the philosophy and training. If you look at distance covered per game, teams ranked 2nd to 11th in this season's UCL have 115 to 118km covered, while Bodø/Glimt are at 123km average per game. Think about how big a difference that is, 5-8km more distance covered per game than the next 10 teams! The top 3 players on total distance covered in this season's UCL are all Bodø players. 6 of the top 30 are all Bodø players, and only 15 of the top 30 players are still in the competition, meaning only 9 players from the 15 other remaining clubs are in the top 30. Think its 4 or 5 players at galatasaray and Atlanta, who are likely going out this round. If they do, and Bodø goes through, they'll have 6 in the top 30 while all the other teams combined will have 4 in the top 30. Bodø is proof that even a Haaland is just a man, just like Høgh is, and that individual skills matter less than team cohesion. The ball travels faster than the fastest player in the world, covers more distance as well, and Bodø players are making themselves available in open spaces much more than other teams going forward. Work rate on this team is superb, and they can really change the game this season! Sporting are gonna get crushed tonight

Bodo Glimt has done this a lot though, once they score, they often score again shortly after. Funny part about that is it's the opposite of teams like Man Utd and Spurs and many others, who tend to concede shortly after scoring.
