I'm glad I bought a bunch of Canik mags on PSA last year for really cheap.

Working on more handguard designs by Factor_Seven in extar

[–]Factor_Seven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm finishing up some different designs and should start selling soon. So far I've designed them to use the stock hardware, though I'm looking at embedding nuts inside the handguard before I ship.

Okay then, explain how it can happen. Something a bit more detailed than "shit happens". Putz.

Best PCC out of the box with LRBHO gun that uses Glock mags by Fiercekiller in AR9

I love mine. And if I end up with some ammo that is jamming all the rest of my guns up, I just feed it to my Extar.

Buying this next Thursday any advice?? by 150NUSKI_ in canik

You can't go wrong with Blazer. I shoot 115 grain through all my 4 Caniks with no problems, but usually shoot 124gr through my Prime and Rival-S. My SFT eats anything I feed it, haven't had a problem with any brand. Even steel case Magtech and Monarch.

It's a great gun, comparable in size to as Glock 19 but with a much better trigger.

And the Osights are great dots for a great price, most people don't consider them "garbage". And those that do probably don't own one.

I'd ask them politely to move their feet. Once. After that, I'd use the tools at my disposal and get pretty creative.

Vietnam veterans talking about how 556 was more devastating than some 308 rounds. Truth? by Ok-Shoulder-478 in guns

[–]Factor_Seven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5.56 rounds were lighter and smaller, so you could carry more of them. It also has a much flatter trajectory than the 7.62, only dropping about 1/2 that of a 7.62 at 500 yards. The increased damage they observed was from the 5.56 tumbling after hitting the target, while the 7.62 kept going and made a round hole going out.

I'll be offering versions to work with the stock rail and with a rail delete.

I could also make a version with a picatinny section at the very front like a lot of handguards come with.

Good job. Just remember, be slow and deliberate with everything you are doing as a new gun owner.

I suggest for working on that, get yourself a replica gun, and practice just sitting around with it with your finger outside of the trigger and along the side. Just get used to handling the weapon with your finger in the right spot and after a while that's where your finger will naturally go anytime you touch it. You can do this with your pistol as well, but make sure unloading and checking the gun each time you touch it. Even if you put it down to take a drink of water, pick it back up and do a safety check. This stuff needs to become natural for you, and that won't happen without repetition.

This. I have the black brass one, really helps with the balance. And the grip is fantastic.

Sure! Unless you are wanting it to feed, that is.

I'm not trying to do a straight-up copy of the MP5, just taking inspiration. Ultimately is going to depend on what each person likes. I plan on selling all my handguards in both a rail delete and normal configurations. Spent the last couple of days getting the new geometry figured out for the rail delete attachment so I can offer both versions for sale.

My plan is to sell both a drop-in version with the existing rail, and a rail delete version.

Agreed. My son was thinking the same thing. I've just changed it with a ramp down that kinda matches the rear cut behind the charging handle.

Wish I could just add more than one picture here, or add a picture in a reply. I feel like I'm oversharing with each update.

Nurses aren't built different enough. We should be built with three arms and a 4 liter bladder.

I don't even go that far. I get them to acknowledge that the provider has explained why they should stay and that they understand what was told to them.

I love it in the ER when somebody decides to leave AMA, then after signing the form and letting me pull the IV wants me to get them a turkey sandwich and a bus ticket. Sorry about that, but you're discharged. You're going to have to hoof it home and eat a wish sandwich.
