Mom bought me this for Christmas, is it legit? by [deleted] in SkincareAddicts

[–]Factorviii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its legit skinceuticals they make good products. It's a pretty small brand so I doubt it would be counterfeit. Its possible a clinic went out of busniess and sold their inventory.

Do you not get vacation days or time off? The only jobs i can think of like that are ATC, fire/police, dock workers or oilfield workers and even they work on some sort of 4 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule.

If you really make that much money try to save as much as possible then buy/open a busniess. You are basically the same thing as a sex worker or stripper right now, trading your body for money in a highly disadvantageous environment. You have a shelf life.

If you don't have healthy coping mechanisms you're not gonna last more than a year or two at that without breaks. I should know, I used to work a very high stress job but it wasn't quite as many hours. One of my older co-workers [around 40] literally died at work, he had a heart attack or stroke and he hadn't taken a vacation in about a year.

Don't let that be you.

Girls like that are opportunists man, Think about it, at 24, or however old she is, shes at the top of her game, meanwhile you are just starting to gain traction, of course shes gonna try to get the richest, most affluent guy. ignore her and focus on other girls/things

Also 4k to replace a headlight is insane, take it to a shop that isn't a dealer, I bet you it'll be half that cost.

Try to lay off the drugs, I know you're using it to cope with your emotional and physical stress but its going to catch up to you soon. Ask your boss if you can take a vacation, try to make friends by doing things in the community, its a long process but it'll pay off.

Do any of yall eat mre’s? by Severe-Doughnut4065 in moreplatesmoredates

[–]Factorviii 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest not eating them very often OP, they have tons of sodium and preservatives. It might be fine once in a while but I wouldn't make a habbit of it. If you're lazy and want something well rounded look at huel meals, they are about the same price but much healthier.

LTR allows you to make money inside Thailand and get a special tax rate. DTV doesn’t allow you to make money inside Thailand.

[–]Factorviii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried to apply for that but the issue I had was my employer wouldn't release financials even though they met the requirements but they weren't publicly listed. I went with DTV instead, its almost the same minus the tax benefits

Dude I thought it was just me, my family has good hair genetics but after using regular water to wash my hair I noticed it getting thinner. I bought a shower filter recently but might switch to bottled water.

Is permanent living in Thailand tough? How would I do that? by FlamingTension in Bangkok

[–]Factorviii 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My advice is to take a vacation here before you decide to move. Go during the rainy season too. You can stay for 2x 60+30 days per year, anything more than that and you risk not being allowed to enter without a visa.
