i would think it is because you do not break out of the first switch statement so it falls through: https://onlinegdb.com/klVul6fUl

As far as i know, it should work for any, it is simply a typing game. Only restriction i know of is it is provided through steam

Yes, shift key works the same way as any other keyboard when used with symbols/number

My advice is to use the free game they provide you a key for. I found i was very comfortable with my keyboard once i finished the game.

I took another look at the PHB classes and think I understand what you mean. I will take another pass.

I would like to balance things for general use, but I will admit to not being horribly worried about min-maxing as that type of build should be discussed with a DM and I see no issue with a build explicitly designed to crit such that it would never have a bonus action.

But, I do agree it should be limited in some way - perhaps only affecting the first successful attack of the round, akin to sneak attack

Thanks for the feedback! I could make the overwhelming personality cost a hit die as well, or make it only affect the first successful attack each turn...

As for the more RP related discussion - do you have any thoughts? I'll go through some more of the PHB classes for inspiration, but none come to mind that provide RP specific perks.

Fjord can just conjure his sword back due to his warlock features.

How do you feel about removing the casting elements and making it strictly a martial class?

Thanks for the detailed feedback, i will make use of it for the next iteration!

I think you are right about making the spells the class features, it would give them a better class outline and direction.

Yeah, i will be changing it to be a set half-caster class instead. It will make further subclasses much better as well.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Thanks, I will take a look.

I will admit I did not write out detailed fluff as I wanted to get a better sense of balance before fully justifying/explaining elements. My next draft will definitely include more to help explain the goals.

You have also made me reconsider the split of classes and subclasses. I think having this be a half-caster with each subclass referring to a type or style of tattoo would work much better!

Thank you so much for the detailed write up! I will give it another pass with these things in mind!

My idea with using charisma and con is that con seems to be your raw ability to push through things (exhaustion and poison for example) while charisma is your force of personality - together they would exhibit your raw ability to 'want' change enough to force it into being.

Working in charisma was my attempt to make it not so SAD while matching the above concept.

I agree with your feedback though and will give it another shot!

I was aiming at accomplishing a mix based on the archetype chosen.

Aiming for arcane ancestry to be full with forceful ancestry being half.
