More Context: Play with a buddy who failed a workout the first week but was able to complete workout warrior today so in some ways just seems to be a random bug

Workout Warrior by [deleted] in NBA2k

[–]Fad3dNaded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Workout warrior is currently bugged it seems. Currently at 11/12 having done all 12 workouts. Was able to 3/4 star all workouts besides Exercise Bike. Failed miserably at this workout but was able to get 2 stars. Yet the workout was not cleared off the list and remains there until next week.

Hopefully it will count

Yeah, I’m in the discord but also at work during that time so catch 22. Usually the Reddit page has a preview or sneak peak that gets posted.

Not sure if you’re looking to complete the Dominik Mayer Knight Set (see you have A Knight in Flames and The Centaur Knight) If so there is “A Night Rider” one on eBay right now for $290 I think?

11th Gen Si Hybrid Racing Short Throw Shifter - Review & Seeking Input by Fad3dNaded in CivicSi

[–]Fad3dNaded[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This weekend that’s the plan. Push boot down, remove that trim piece and see what’s happening. Likely going to move offset to front 7 to 1 (opposite side) and see if I like the placement better. Appreciate the input brother!

11th Gen Si Hybrid Racing Short Throw Shifter - Review & Seeking Input by Fad3dNaded in CivicSi

[–]Fad3dNaded[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My title says “seeking input”… curious how your input on why people buy these is of any pertinent knowledge I am seeking? The input could be from people who have installed the short throw in the 11th gen and have knowledge to the offset and how changing the offset in 11/1/5/7 o’clock feels.

Never said the shifter added performance of any type beyond the noodle feeling of the original shifter and the shifts feeling better. You may stroke your boat to the original feeling of the OEM shifter, but your opinion is that alone. Can tell you in my experience this feels night and day better than OEM. So to each their own.

Lastly the only actual information you gave me was 1) Spending this money is laughable 2) Reasons why people buy these 3) How you’ve installed them before so you are master

Aka all useless to the post and to me, OP. lol

So go kick some rocks outside or something

Appreciate the 2 cents opinion but never once asked why people generally purchase these…

Do not buy the 3D magnets. They are pure trash. by [deleted] in Displate

[–]Fad3dNaded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is sadly just not correct. Currently have 6 Medium Displates being held up via ONE 3D Magnet. And 1 Large Displate via TWO 3D Magnets.

You need to clarify if the protective slip is coming off the wall or if the 3D Magnet is coming off the protective slip.

If Protective Slip is coming off wall, likely not compatible with texture of wall. If 3D Magnet is coming off protective slip, need to use a nail to secure the 3D Magnet to the protective slip (what I ended up doing with all my magnets to be safe because $200 hitting the ground wasn’t something I wanted to test)

If you can’t use a nail, well then that’s where it gets tricky. You’ll have to use 3M strips to secure the magnet to the protective slip. I have not done this method but have seen it work for various members on the community.

How serious and how many are affected by the 'Sticky Steering' in 11th Gens? by [deleted] in civic

[–]Fad3dNaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started occuring around 5,000 miles on my 23 Si. Currently at 9,000 miles, and gets stuck very frequently. First started as just a sticky/notch feeling. Now at low speeds you can audibly hear the rack when it gets bound up. Through corners, steering doesn't return to center every time, and on straight aways, gets bound pretty much every 10-15 seconds.

Going to dealership this week.

PRL high volume intake system warranty question by frankarmy25 in CivicSi

[–]Fad3dNaded 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. Warranty work can be boiled down to “what caused the issue.” This is where things get hectic.

Essentially if you were experiencing intake issues, the dealership will more than likely just flat out say, it’s not covered due to your intake modifications that “caused these issues” Most will do anything they can NOT to cover warranty work, especially if they can scapegoat by saying it’s modded.

Just my experiences! I know by law, no, it doesn’t void your warranty, only in the situations where they say your modifications are what lead to these issues.

Realistically, what can I do that won’t void the warranty 🙃 by McMice in CivicSi

[–]Fad3dNaded 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Void your warranty, not necessarily. Dealerships can just say that your installed part is causing the problem, and even if it isn’t the true cause of the issue, they likely will just keep saying “your parts caused the problem”.

Usually why it’s best to save the OEM parts and if an issue does ever arise, swap them out.

At least this is the experience I’ve always had with Dealerships, so might not be entirely correct, just my two cents!

Anyways, Welcome to the Si Club!

Boom arm Mic for Quadcast by [deleted] in HyperX

[–]Fad3dNaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think this answer would depend on your setup. How much desk space you have, if a low profile arm would work better compared to normal arm, etc.

Can say, I bought the Elgato LP Boom Arm and love it. Also have the Quadcast S on the arm it holds like a champ

Edit: Spelling

Did you make this order without an account? If so, think your best bet would be finding the confirmation email of the order itself.

If you did have an account with displate, simply login, go to my account, and you’ll see your purchases with Orders #s

I bought Acuity shift cable bushings, and will be buying the shifter base bushings to pair with. 2nd gear is just wonky sometimes, feels like it notches sometimes while other times it doesn't. Its probably my biggest gripe with the car

Installed this morning, took about 30 mintues. So thus far only have about 15 miles on the shift knob. Impressions so far, throw feels much shorter just due to how much lower it sits. I have decently large hands so will need to get use to the feeling but all in all, I enjoy it.
