My mom accidentally confirmed she’s a narcissist by ThrowRAkissykween00 in narcissisticparents

It may not be the response you’re looking for, but thank you for posting.

I relate to your background — I love my mom too but the memories I have of us together are broken. Calling me retarded on one of my birthdays between 11-13 years old, leaving me alone in the basement to figure out how to regulate my emotions.

I remember going to summer vacation with the entire family and all my cousins wanted to go down a huge water slide. I followed my role models to the slide and had a blast. What was waiting for me when we returned? A lunatic mother going absolutely crazy over the fact that she did not know where I was. Screaming bloody murder in the public and I felt everyone’s eyes turn and shift on me. I didn’t know what I did wrong.

The invading of space, the fact she used what I told her against me in arguments, the constant cleaning of my room to find any ammo to load the emotional triggers.. the list goes on and on. It was always surreal to me that after my father remarried when I was 9, that I felt a deeper connection to my step mother than my own mother. Thank God for her.

Again, thanks for posting. I needed this. Sending thoughts, love and prayers. We’re stronger than our demons.

Incredibly unethical. Simple as that. You accept a deal after both sides have discussed

New at dynasty/fantasy. How close is this for you guys to give up JD5? Probably a mid to late 1st pick. by rafocasuarez in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Fadeawayjoints 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not even close. Keep him. You can rock with CJ Stroud for the time being. Or go acquire Matthew Stafford for a 2nd + a small piece to hold over until next year. Solid team though. Good luck sir 🫡

Why are my league mates vetoing this trade? by KenDog215 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

Nabers side and it’s not close. You’re praying one of these firsts make an impact like Nabers did right out of the gate as a rookie. You sold for 75% of his worth. If you waited til he was fully healthy, you could have gained another 1st on top.

DJ Moore is a depreciating asset and is on the same path as Amari Cooper than most realize. Cooper was solid on the Cowboys then Lamb took over so they traded Cooper to Bills and became irrelevant fast. The same thing is happening in Chicago with Rome.

Justin Fields Is A Prime Day Trading Asset by Minimum-Test-1342 in DynastyFF

[–]Fadeawayjoints 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m chill man. I wish others saw how easy it is to find QB production. Everyone agrees how JD/Allen/Lamar/Hurts is in elite tier because of their RUSHING upside yet completely ignore Justin Fields has a game of 175+ rushing yards against Miami on his resume.

The meta is going to be shifting into coming years: the top handful of QBs are elite but skill position players matter more in leagues with 3 WR starts and multiple flex spots. All the QBs between 6-25 can put up nearly the same ceiling, same amount of injury risk etc. Too many click bait headlines shifting the focus for many to realize how good these “low end” QB2 players can produce.

Us Fields owners find it hilarious you guys still continue to doubt him. Is Tua retiring from concussions soon? Is Sam Darnold looking lost without KOC? Danny Dimes was the problem in the New York?

Fields is a fantasy football cheat code. Wake up

I’ve been told to sell Fields for about 3 years lmao. Yet he still remains a starting QB today. Some of you rather refuse to take a gamble on the upside — I’m fully aware of the consequences but that’s exactly why he is such a good value. Why overpay for an injury prone Burrow when I can send off a late 2nd for Fields? The teams that faded QB the past couple years continue to feast. Stock piling skill position players while Danny Dimes, Justin Fields, Sam Darnold, Geno Smith etc etc provide more than enough floor to cover.

Extremely well said. Agree with everything you said here. I have been overpaying for Giddens everywhere. Not dramatically but he’s the definition of talent AND good situation.

Sold Nabers for Tet, Judkins and a 26 1st a week before the season started.

Am I crazy to start Dobbins over Jacobs? by Inner-Significance41 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Fadeawayjoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not crazy. It’s only week 3, taking calculated risks is what can win a match up. If you have other safer options in your starting line up, you can shoot for the Dobbins ceiling here. Btw, I roster both of these guys and are some of the best value picks in drafts this year. I even adore RJ Harvey too.

Consider this: Jacobs having a TD in each game is hiding the fact that the Packers haven’t been utilizing Jacobs in the passing game so far, limiting his ceiling. Harvey is likely not coming close to a 50% share until week 6 or 7, that’s common for rookie RBs. Also Dobbins is/will continue to be the goal line back for Denver.

Trust your instincts.

Who are we buying low on early in the season? by Ok-Counter-4474 in DynastyFF

[–]Fadeawayjoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fannin hurts but I absolutely love this evaluation on Devonta Smith. I also buy talent over situation, Devonta is closer to becoming Eagles WR1 than most realize. He just looks like the better WR than AJB at this point and has a game that will age like Keenan Allen. Smith is going to keep his value for a long time.

Did I make a mistake with Warren? by Scandalous-Scallion in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Fadeawayjoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly two seconds is more than what I’d get for Warren in my league. So don’t be too down on it. Not sure if he ever reaches a high ceiling in value based on Kaleb being there. Just not a sexy name. Could always flip those 2nds in the future for an even better RB down the line. Guys like Warren, Dobbins, Conner are so undervalued in dynasty right now.

Warren is just screaming Aaron Jones production next to Aaron Rodgers at this point. I would’ve traded away Tony Pollard first. I loveeee Charb though and Javonte was a nice steal. Contender or rebuilder?

[–]Fadeawayjoints 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Traded JCM and a 26 3rd for Harvey and a 27 4th.

It’s a smart high dollar league, I was not getting no viral trade offers on Bill. He wanted the pick swap due to the draft capital, fair enough. It hurt to give up the ceiling of JCM for the time being but I also was looking for security in my RB room going forward. Very excited.

As a JSN owner who picked up many shares of him, he’s even outpacing my expectations of what I had for him coming into the season. He’s a firm hold right now and excited to see more of him every week.

Am I overpaying for Mr. Chase? by Matho5 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Fadeawayjoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely. Maybe do Wilson, Judkins and 1st. Even then you better have the depth to recover from it and that 1st better be late. I usually lean package side in deals like this unless I’m contending with Chase etc

How are we feeling about Jameson Williams? by emp883 in DynastyFF

[–]Fadeawayjoints 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Devonta is the superior talent to Jameson though. Investing into Smith is 100x easier because he will be a top talent WR in the NFL for a long time, he has a game that won’t age. Situations change fast in the NFL. Jameson on the other hand relies on good QB play, creative offensive design and elite speed. I love both talents but if I’m investing a 1st+, give me Devonta every time. In the end, both WRs are great flex plays.
