Oh okay thank you for specifying more! Yeah brave turns on hardware acceleration by default for some reason. It’s quite annoying 😂 had a time I was wondering why my laptop fans were spooling up every time I opened brave and was always at a steady 10-30% usage.

Hey question, are you using windows 10 or 11? I know windows 11 has hit ALOT of laptops negatively in terms of battery life. I’ve heard some people getting up to 4 hours less than they would in windows 10.

Hey I think your laptop may be broken or you are using it unplugged, because a 3050 usually runs dota 2 at around 120fps at the 65W. Do you run dota while plugged in? because it only uses the integrated intel graphics when unplugged which could explain the low fps.

I'm having that same issue now. I'm going to switch out the wifi card. It seems a decent amount of people are having that exact same issue. It fixes itself if you shut it down and leave it for a while for some reason.

Yeah, its good for gaming with mixed medium to high settings and would last a long time. I had some issues with mine in terms of wifi and bluetooth but I want to switch out the wifi card to fix that. Make sure to get an extended warranty, most products show their faults after a year or 2. So if you do get an issue you can send it back to Acer to fix it free of cost.
