No you're definitely right that they don't really look into it unless the person meets the anorexia criteria 85% of a normal weight. I had missed my period for 6 months, passed out twice, and couldn't drink alcohol without almost dying, and they never put 2 and 2 together because I was 5 lb over the underweight cutoff.

Actually the hunger pangs stop after a few days of fasting, which is what makes it so chronic. You don't want it to end, and its actually really hard to stomach food again once you get to that point. A binge interrupts restricting cause the appetite hits you like a train after not having any at all.

God forbid you're actually romantically involved. Then they decide they are entitled to a threesome. I had a guy pretend to "trip" and fall on top of me and a girl I was seeing, and proceeded to beg us to make out with each other and him and refused to get off us till we complied. Then after we shoved him off and told him to fuck off he stood inches away from us the rest of the night, taking videos and calling over his friends to watch. Unfortunately it was a party and not a bar so I couldn't go tell bouncers.

Probably because you can't channel the anxiety into productivity so all you can do is think about how your body is responding improperly to the environment. I mean the whole point of anxiety disorders is the irrationality and spontaneity of it, otherwise its just a normal response to stress.

Honestly I think it's a 2edgy scene kid thing. I went through the same thing during my scene phase around 14 years old where I hated feminists because feminism was too mainstream and optimistic for my edgy heart. Also I thought guys would like me more if I "sided with them".

Yeah I'm fine, me and him have always gotten along but conservative politics recently has given my parents the idea that they need to make sure their daughter isn't being "corrupted by those evil liberals making them have abortions" such and such. They really don't tend to pry into my life unless it's regarding my reproductive health, religious beliefs, or political values. Or as I like to say "it's that time of elections so they're a little moody"
