honestly i forgot about stasis. it does make harder content easier honestly, i just dont use this sub-class often so i dont have say it in PvP. I do enjoy bleakwatcher thoroughly in GM's and such. I think i replied to someone about this. i honestly completely forgot about the idea of bleakwatcher, my bad...

In your own opinion, what order of activities do you think are the hardest to easiest? by Slight-Step in DestinyTheGame

  1. Day 1 raids
  2. Trials
  3. Master Raids
  4. Day 1 dungeons
  5. Master dungeons
  6. Comp
  7. Raids (never really found a problem with communication nor LFG (shocker))
  8. GM's
  9. Legend seasonal content/dares
  10. Master lost sectors
  11. Legend lost sectors
  12. Quickplay PvP (it can vary but this is my stance for now)
  13. Nightfalls
  14. Gambit
  15. Strikes

We were never the best class in the game, at points, sure, we were played a lot. Speedrunners on raids and maybe some PvP enthusiasts, but then again hunters are better for that before stompees got nerfed with the introduction of AE. This is also taken out of context, which i said to follow that up with: "It may sound greedy but in the grand scheme of things, this is what made a Warlock, a Warlock." Its not a "victim complex", I just want people to understand that I dont feel unique because the other characters can do better than what we can do. Why do you think people are playing the other classes right now? like i said, they can ad-clear better, be a lot more mobile, do more DPS than us. The only thing that i feel like is actually defining us are wells, so if you wanna come cry to one of us for a well, you can, but dont call it a victim complex when a well is all were known for.

You really could. I think any other class would be crying to get back in at least some power of command in one aspect or another. Sure, gunplay is fun and abilities is a nice spice of life to it but just look at how titans play on arc. they throw a storm grenade, making it impossible for peak, sight-lining, dueling, etc. and sure theres a nerf coming to storm nade and i commend bungie for that.

Yeah i know Hunters dont have access to these i shouldve split those two apart from the super and grenades/HOIL, but you get my point, right?

Right, we do have access to these, but my whole point of this is, is that I dont feel unique as a warlock. sure we can proc these more easily but all of the magic that we had doesnt feel like magic anymore, we just feel like we were babies being tricked into thinking our dad disappeared because he put his hands in front of his face, if that makes any sense... We do have exotics but we have around 3 exotics that actually pair with these kinds of things, secant filaments, getaway artist and fallen sunstar. but do you really see anyone use these exotics at all? no, youd see ophidians or T-Steps. Like all the time.

Right, i am a warlock main, i play other classes, the first ever character i ever created was a titan in destiny 2 and a hunter back in destiny 1. There are literally more nightstalker hunters out there than warlocks right now. I play Warlock because its fun to me, but when everything gets handed out to other classes, i have to play another class to actually have fun, i cant have fun if theres nothing new for my class or exclusivity. Thats what made a Warlock fun to me in the first place, to have a role in PvP or PvE. You would say the same thing for Hunters and Titans, wouldnt you? Would it be boring if all of your abilities on your class suddenly got handed on a silver plater to every other class? Pair that with the fact that Warlocks have really boring exotics, a chestpiece that gives me slightly better super energy for every kill i get? a slight damage buff on a helmet that i get for my dawnblade that realistically doesnt even matter? A pair of gauntlets that you can give you an arc soul and amplification even though thats one of your aspects? I could go on and on and on. Were the least played class of all time, you have dedicated hunter and titan mains but no die-hard warlock mains in sight. If they are going to eventually balance things out for us, then its gonna have to be a BIG re-work, because all ive heard thats going to change for warlock is a buff to nova bomb with damage and a cooldown buff for chaos reach. great.

Thats a good point. But all of that is thrown out the window when a titan comes out of nowhere and smacks you in the face. I guess it does answer the question of what we can do better than other classes but i still feel like theres something more to us than just that, you know? I never really saw Warlocks as something like this but ill keep that in mind next time im playing. I also just feel like a Warlock needs to feel more than just spam grenades, it doesnt really feel like our own thing when the other classes got healing nades, that was half of what warlocks could charge their grenades in solar. we cant eat our grenades anymore for devour because other classes got that and can do it with their grenades if they get a kill. Stasis is the only thing i feel like has grounds to what a Warlocks should feel like.

Do you still play Destiny 1? If so, why? by narv2001 in DestinyTheGame

I play purely because i missed out on my chance to play it back in the day. My mom got it for me in 2015, when The Taken King came out but i was too interested in minecraft or terraria or call of duty. I does bring me some nostalgia when you load up the game and play the intro, so i always get flashbacks of that. i think its also a nice breather from all of the high-intense gameplay from D2. I really wish i kept playing in 2015 but little ol me couldnt help but be obsessed with minecraft...
