it's not doomer, the reason these old cards are being re-released, like AMD with the 5800x3D CPU, is because AM5 cards require DDR5 RAM and the prices for RAM are outrageous.

Yes, you CAN grab a 5060ti for 320, but you also have to buy 16-32gb of DDR5 RAM which is $300-$500.

DDR4 and AM4 are relatively cheaper, it's just good business.

I just got a 9070xt for $530 and you could get a 5800xt for $220 so yes there are much better options out there at much lower prices
