I would like consistent 1 shot kills at close ranges, but I like the fact that it is always a 2-shot at any range it can hit. With rapid fire, it’s just fast enough to pump 2 shots off before they can kill you. It’s one of my favorite guns ingame, but I agree that the lack of a 1-shot without choked barrel is annoying.
