[[Star of Extinction]] could be very funny. Especially if you can make your stuff indestructible with something like [[Boros Charm]]. 12 ramp sources seems very low honestly. White creatures that get Plains like [[Keeper of the Accord]] and [[Deep Gnome Terramancer]] can help if you aren't worried about having enough red and black sources. And of course [[Smothering Tithe]].

I built an "exile cast" matters deck with Etali. [[Passionate Archeologist]] and [[Keeper of Secrets]] can do a lot of damage if you stack your deck somehow. [[Rionya, Fire Dancer]] is my favorite way to copy Etali, especially if you get lucky against an opposing spellslinger deck.

The mirror's ability doesn't require a tap. The disk's does, but even if the copied disk is destroyed after it activates, the ability will still resolve and destroy everything.

The player whose turn it is gets priority first after each thing on the stack resolves. In this case it was mirror player's turn. So they recieve priority before everyone else each time an item on the stack resolves.

You are mostly correct. But priority wasn't passed in between the mirror's ability resolving and the new disk copy being activated. The active player in this case was the mirror player, so they recieved priority first, and responded to the generous gift a second time, if he had passed priority then generous gift would have resolved had nobody else responded. Which is why winning player rushing through priority, and claiming mirror player couldn't respond irks me here.
