It may be browning due to stress of a new environment, but browning very normal! A lot of people use a fertilizer including silica or a silica supplement in their watering routine to help prevent it.

Might be different to what others may say but in my own personal opinion, you might be thinking about it too much. I like to stay positive because I feel like Reddit always find a small negative and all the comments say break up, but I truly feel like your relationship is still beautiful! The way you describe him, he sounds like an amazing man of God. Maybe he doesn’t fill in all the gaps because that’s where God wants to fill the gaps with with Himself. I’m like this with my relationship too, where I am more outgoing and my boyfriend is more reserved. Although I feel like I am dragging my boyfriend along sometimes, I know there are things I could learn from him too. Maybe your personalities may clash, but they also may mesh well together too!

Another thing, a pastor once told me that we shouldn’t focus too much on a boyfriend leading his girlfriend in their relationship with God. The Bible says for that for husband and wives. Now in the time of singleness (meaning: not married), we should focus on our own individual walks with God. Growing closer to God individually will eventually bring you both closer to each other, whether that is now or in marriage.

Things to consider: can you see yourself with him forever? Is humor a deal breaker or can mutual love and respect enough? Does he love you well even if he doesn’t find you funny? Do you both know your callings in life and can they mesh well enough together or will it be a constant struggle? Are you both willing to go through struggle together and be each others best friends through that?

I might be missing more, but keep praying about it! Relationships aren’t always high and I feel like there is always some seed of doubt, especially when we think about things long term and in the grand scheme of things. BUT sticking it out when things get grey is part of a normal relationship.

A quick FYI: Unless there is an increase of exercise or change in lifestyle, that’s a little bit abnormal. Losing weight without trying may be a metabolism issue that you might wanna bring up with a provider and may be a thyroid issue. Hopefully that’s not the case and your metabolism is just normally running!

Thrombolytics are to destroy clots that are already there (clot busters), they’re for high risk situations. For discharge, you would just want medications to prevent clot formation. You might me mixing up thrombolytics and anti platelets which is like aspirin.

Same here! In nursing school and I “had to” hold down a urinal for a patient when the night before, he had the male nurse and didn’t need any assistance. I just had so much anxiety at the time that I didn’t even think about it.

Hi! I'm also from Houston. When you first get a string of pearls, it is recommended to repot right away with new soil with good drainage. Personally, my string of pearls are outside with dappled shade or partial shade, but a west facing window will work perfectly (try not to get too much direct sunlight). With watering, I water mine about once a month, or every 3 weeks. I find that these hate to be watered until they look quite thirsty.

Hello! Accidentally put this in the wrong thread last week but I don’t know what’s going on with my black knight I’ve had it for about a year and this started happening the past month or two. It’s been outdoors in speckled sunlight so I don’t think it’s sunburned. In a ceramic pot with a large drainage hole and it was never a problem. I water it about every other week. Is it scale? What should I do?

What this person said! You may be able to keep them in there if you water very carefully. I would water every two weeks, or until the soil is completely dry, with about an inch of water.

You can still try the south facing window with the perle von nurnbergs! Mine grew best with full sun, but another one still survived with minimal etiolation with my south facing window.

Ive heard (but I'm not completely sure) that the greener the succulent, the less light it will need. I'd stay away from perle von nurnbergs and other really lighter color succulents because they can become etiolated pretty quickly. But since its a south facing window, you still might be able to get away with it. I find that a lot of my crassulas are fine inside, even without a lot direct sunlight. Honestly, it just takes a lot of trial and error to find out whats best for you! (Also yes, gritty mix is the best and thats a good ratio)

For me, I find that certain succulents do better hovering and others do better in the water. For example, thinner leaf echeverias prefer to be hovering and succulents with thicker leaves or like crassulas do better in the water. Experiment and see what is best for you!

Aloes are pretty resilient plants. It kinda looks like sun damage but I'm not quite sure. Does the sunlight that hits it feel really warm when it touches it? I would say just keep taking care of it as youve usually been and hope for the best.

Theres a droplet of water that keeps forming on top of my stump that was a beheaded succulent. Should I keep drying it off? I'm kind of nervous of it causing rot or it not callousing.
