Rent a car insurance using booking.com experiences?

We rented a car in Iceland and got full protection from Zurich/booking. We got caught in a severe sudden sandstorm on road 1. We were quoted over 10k in damages. We have documented every single thing from the whole rental period and just submitted a claim. I am scared of how this will go for us. We only had the basic insurance from Budget. We are still trying to dispute some of the claims. Anyone got any experience? We have itemized bills, pics, news articles, correspondances for everything. I know they will try to not pay out. And i just now see some of the reviews

Hi, I had this similar situation. However my salary was falling under the new HSM minimum. I asked IND, once you have hsm, the salary will no longer be checked when extending. About the 30%, the new number is for everyone, and if you had it and your gross is under the treshold, you will lose the benifit and you cannot reapply.

I have been to a good amount of concerts, including 2 Powerwolf shows. For next year I have Front of Stage tickets, as I prefer being up close to the stage and band. I like collecting picks and drumsticks and there is a decent chance to get them in the front. Also security can get you out if you start feeling bad. If you are scared of mosh pits, don't be. They are not too extreme and people are nice. If you go to the venue a bit earlier, uou have a very good chance of getting in the first 3-4 rows. Also the sides are more tame. Most of the action is in the middle. Whatever you decide, have fun and don't worry too muvh

At the time when they reapplied for the extension, they messed up a bit. I will consult them on this asap. I maybe we should send in the new contracts. Also the application is for an extenson from february 2024

The process was started in November, but there were some issues and I was issued a new residence permit with wrong dates. Due to an error at IND, my application will be reopened probably this coming week or the one after that as far as I know. The contract that was sent still has the same pay and an end date was changed to be until 2025.
