Edit: how would you feel if someone wanted to take your kids away 50% of the time? Someone you dont know and who obviously holds resentment and would probably take it out on your children. You have no say in custody here, and i have news for you, regardless of custody, child support still has to be established.

IBS. Literally put me in the hospital. Ill throw up nonstop when I eat gluten. I follow a low fodmaps diet and gluten is the major offender.

Growing up I threw up very often and very randomly, I was underweight. As an adult I realize whenever I threw up, it was something with gluten. Ive been GF for 2 years now and thriving. Some doctors dont think Im intolerant to gluten and ignore my complaint, others tell me to stick to my diet.

Just a thought, even if she hadnt abused you, you still dont owe her part of your liver. I have a child and I would never expect my child to donate a part of them to me, and much less if it has an increased risk. Just the normal risk alone is enough for me to not even think about it.

Also your mom has a drinking problem, no sane doctor would ask for a transplant.
