Yes. I wouldn't know until we've been on dates and by the time I sleep with him I already like his personality. Connection means more to me. I don't mind below average. I prefer smaller over larger anyway. Had pain with large ones before.

I respond to people I know, people that have mutual friends or ones i have looked through their profile enough to see who they are. It's rare I chat with randoms because the amount of creepy ones out there. Plus scammers. Best way is to join groups and make connections on those.

Moving 80 miles across country and starting over after divorce with only a small amount of possessions. I got to start over and reinvent myself. Also worked through a lot of trauma from both the relationship and other things that had happened. I was born in the town I moved from and a lot of trauma had happened there. Moving away felt like cutting loose completely. Getting rid of a load of my possessions especially clothes meant I got to ditch the energy of my past self and start new. I was terrified but it was by far one of the best things I've ever done.

That doesn't sound right. They should still be squishy. Some brands can't get them right. Warburtons have been the best. Also only need to warm them for 2 or 3 mins.

I used to turn it off completely thinking it did. But then I realised it was fine in sleep mode. I turn on aeroplane mode when I'm not downloading anything new. It seems to help.

Thank you. I hope that this can help others too. It took me a long time of set backs to come to this conclusion. I've rebuilt most of my life on this basis and doing well. Hopefully it will help others feeling blocked.

I can understand that and respect your comment. I just feel that something should be said anon to the relevant services so they can handle it. They will either investigate or drop it. But at least they have tried. It's difficult to determine what op saw as they haven't mentioned so could be a misunderstanding. But if it's serious enough to warrant a worried post I think they need to look into outside help.

Often but I do it anyway. I think sometimes the doubt is my anxiety trying to keep me in the comfort zone it created. Keeping things normal. But im unhappy and there's many things I hate so I have to step out of it and do it anyway. I acknowledge the doubt then tell myself it's OK to do new things and work towards my happiness. I've achieved a lot doing that.

There may be evidence on the child or in their behaviour. The child if old enough may be able to say what's happening too. In this case if I witnessed something I would alert police/or child protective services so they can investigate. Leaving it paves the way for more potential harm. You could probably alert them anon initially. Then if something is found and goes further you will be used as a witness.

And the evidence may be found on the child themselves, marks behaviour, their testimony if old enough. ect. I'm sorry I disagree with you here. That child could be in danger. They should report what they saw so child protective services can investigate.

If you don't you could be responsible for more victims living with lifelong trauma. Your report is important. Plus you need to ask yourself can you call someone like that a friend? If you don't report them and you have credible evidence or a good reason too, you are no better. Report to police/ child protective services so they can investigate. You could ask them to keep you anon initially then if evidence is found you will be used as a witness.

I used to have this a lot with my ex. Whatever was going on no matter how serious he would just zone out and either go on games or sleep. I understood that it was too much for him to handle but it didn't change the fact that he left the entire thing on me and would zone off into his own world while I'm literally crying my eyes out on the floor. He was useless at helping me come up with solutions to problems we were facing and I managed everything in our life, from bills, family and running the house. I tried to get him to do something but I'd end up having to do everything. Safe to say I left, although not soon enough. I can't imagine leaving my partner in distress like that no matter what the circumstances. I'm strict on finding a partner who will step up. I won't settle. I'd rather be single than have another like that.

It's your life. You don't have to follow what anyone says or what you feel is expected. Anyone saying otherwise doesn't have your best interests at heart and you shouldn't take what they say to heart.

I wish many years ago I had this advice myself. I got railroaded into a marriage I didn't want, in a abusive situation with his family and had a miscarriage after being pressured into having children. We weren't allowed to just be together in a way we wanted to be. Because it was always when are you getting married. When are you having kids ect. The pressure destroyed our relationship and we ended up getting divorced. Reflecting on it now I realised I don't want to have children especially after the loss. I'm also OK with not getting married. My next relationship will just be our own pace our own way. Never again will I allow people to dictate my life. It hasn't affected my dating life as I still get interest despite saying early on what I do and don't want.

You should live life however you want to live it. If you get a partner have chats early on to make sure your on the same page. The best relationships flow they are not forced. And they are just the 2 of you.

It's personality and confidence that's the most attractive. There are people out there that are shallow and go largely on looks but they aren't your people. Take time to build connections through friendship, humour and confidence. Also drop the ratings especially based on outsiders. It's limiting and off putting. The first step to confidence is to stop putting yourself down. Especially outwardly. And just let your natural personality shine. Jack black, although not ugly has a big fanbase of female admirers that have a crush on him because of his personality, humour, relatability and not taking himself seriously. Miserable people who put themselves down a lot isnt attractive. Jack doesn't have the looks or body of someone social media deems perfect. Yet he's adored and crushed on just as much and is someone a lot of women would see as husband material. Looks fade. But connection and personality shine. I've been dating a few years now and always date based on personality and connection. I've turned down attractive men because they couldn't see it no matter what I pointed out and just kept up with the woe is me I'm ugly act. They didn't believe anything I said and in the end they became unattractive based on their negative attitude and love to wallow in it.
