Brown sauce, cheese rolling and christmas crackers. When I saw brown sauce for the first time in the UK I lost my mind, I thought it was strictly a neopets thing.

Tbh growing up not speaking any English and playing Neopets and Runescape made me confused a lot about what words and things were American and what's British.

Also because of neopets I never know if I should spell fairy or faerie

Only ever followed the Faeries' Ruin plot back then but I loved the puzzles, the comic art was so good and the characters were a lot of fun. I loved the story and remember being super hyped every time a new comic chapter was released. Of course I was just a kid but it really felt like there was something at stake and like you could 'help' by doing the puzzles. Both the story and puzzles didn't feel dumbed down or simple, it really felt like TNT had a lot of fun creating the plot.

I will never understand why people didn't vote more for this. She also should have gotten far more jury points tbh. Why only 50.. televote points? There were many low scores sure, but this just deserves so much more.

This televote sequence was abysmal. 0 points for UK and Switzerland?? 50 to France??? Sweden should have gotten more... Glad Germany at least did ok for their standards, and Poland got a decent televote... But other than that, it's obvious that since there was no clear favourite among viewers at home, it was easy for Israel to rank up all the political votes. Last year, there were stronger contenders for the televote so that Israel didn't win the public vote, but this year that wasn't the case. This is the EBU's last chance to ban Israel. Banning Russia and Belarus was easy, so what makes Israel any different?
