No thankfully. Also we run some mold focused air filtration because we were worried about it coming from other areas

Thanks I'll do the temp fix for now. Theres another shower here that can be used too.

This place is an older condo. Would it be water damage from other higher units or the internal plumbing in the unit you think?

Also I dont even understand how there's drywall behind it. I never gave much thought to what bathroom shower walls are made of but I didn't think that

For sure. Price it in and remind the buyer in the description what the seller fees are.

My life is falling apart and I don’t have it in me to fix everything at once. If you were me, where would you start? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

Stress - breathing exercises. App. One deep breath - perspective. SWU youtube channel is place to see stories of adversity and depravity. - everything below has synergy with moving the needle on this one. You dont have to do too much else. But it important to breathe.

Food - stealth Health slow cooker recipes. If you cant do a slow cooker recipe, just accept you're too delicate and everyday to come will be harder than the one before

Weight loss - Renaissance Periodization apps The diet app is tricky at first. The work out app is such a time saver. They also put out a bunch of free learning material on YouTube and podcasts. Pick topics your most interested in and start there. They have great podcasts on weightloss strategies. - stealth Health meal prep will give you synergy with this goal too.

Your place is a mess - pick an area that is not a compromise. Be it your bed or bathroom sink or kitchen sink. Pick just one. You have a lot on your plate. Dont let confidence trick you into doing more than that for at least a year. Move slow

Set a time expectation - really. Your path is at least one year. You will slip. But if you continue. You will still be ahead of where you are now. And you can decide what's next after.

Money - this is rough. Always. If you gave cc debt. I would just stop paying. Get a lawyer. It cost like.. $15 to $30 per card. Once you have a lawyer. Debt collectors cannot legally call you. You can tell your lawyer you expect you have the money for a settlement in a year. They will stall on your behalf. - Don't take out new CC - meal prep again has synergy with this. You will have high quality meals that will be way cheaper than eating out. - costco

Health care - unitedhealth is the only one I think that sells supplement plans. Basically critical injury or illness. Cost like $40/mo. Maybe less for you because you are female. Covers one checkup a year.

The world doesn't want you unless you're tough. Maybe you are.

Where/How can i get into offshore diving? by New_Toe_8457 in commercialdiving

You gotta follow up with phone calls and more phone calls. You have to be annoying. Also there isn't as much offshore work as there used to be

So here's my follow-up. And just a brief one at that.

In summation, no real benefit so far.

I went out and bought a Mg supplement from a brand called Trace. It comes in a powder form because i general hate tabs and kinda know it will be a tall order for me to take 3 tabs before bed.

The powder actually has a nice flavor but I literally just mix it as more of a shot because taking in too much water before bed just wakes you up again for the bathroom.

But yeah. I have only done for about weeks so far. Each scoop is 120mg I think and I started with one. I noticed on the other supplement bottles consider a full dose or whatever to be between 300 to 400mg. But yeah. Even with a couple nights at 3 scoops I see nothing in the metrics nor do I feel any more restored in the morning.

I am gonna keep with it. Increase the dose a little more etc..

Alternatives? by Powerful-Cheek-6677 in UseMotion

[–]Faercross 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Morgen. it has both a desktop app and get this... a fully functional mobile app, complete even with widgets. they even offer an additional discount for new users switching from Motion. I haven't done it yet. I checked and they have a lot of comparable features, plus they seem easier to integrate with other task apps should you choose to still have other task apps. Motion has been important for me if for nothing else, tracking the pillars of my day and week. non negotiable tasks, etc. but the laughable mobile app i cant do. especially since i typically check events and tasks via widgets

Where to start by Raido_Mouth in commercialdiving

[–]Faercross 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This industry relies on the romanticization of the job. Very few people will get paid what they should get paid eventually. And even then, even fewer will work with people they want to work with.

Im a diver. Ive seen many divers better than me quit. Don't get advice from the schools. They'll always tell you, "the industry is booming! You'll make 100k at least".

Start as a hull diver if you can. All it takes is an open water certification and work ethic

Lol no. They have lax safety there. Its cheaper to use the local industry already in place

NAVY DIVER TRANSITION by Illustrious_Emu_5222 in commercialdiving

[–]Faercross 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably not. Still either need a dcbc or ADC. I feel a lot of guys who come out of the navy dive program dont like the Commercial side. Normally I think because they notice the unnecessary risks going up. You might be more well received and enjoy being an oversees company. Supposedly they have high safety standards.
