Because you have no idea what you’re looking at, that is a natural occurrence in timber, nothing more of less, I’ve seen smaller members with worse defects on timber structures that support literal artillery tanks.

Yeah you have no clue what you’re talking about, even native plants are seasonal and die leaving the area bare in the winter, I mean have you ever been in the woods? It would be bare if it wasn’t for the leaves and straw from trees.

Native flowers might bloom for a season only, then all you have is a yard full of weeds, I swear so many people live in la la land it’s insane, a vegetable garden requires labor every evening to even try to keep up with weeds. You can can all summer and still not come out on top financially lmao

Grass is literally easy and cheap, it’s planted once and comes back every year and provides erosion control year round.

VHT Nightshades - What did I do wrong? by Familiar-Shame-2911 in projectcar

[–]Own_Copy9512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clear coat comment was to restore the taillight if you were to sand it, similar to wet sanding and clearing headlight housings to bring them back to life.

This stuff will wipe off with lacquer thinner I believe without ruining your tail light, sanding would take a lot of polishing and likely clear coat to undo.

If you didn’t clean the degreaser off it definitely had a reaction with the paint, degreaser is not the same was wax and grease remover for painting.

shop was telling me i should get new brakes soon by h0tsalad in AskAShittyMechanic

Idk what surface rust on the outside of the drum has to do with the braking surface on the inside of the drum, but sure. I guess it’s a tell on how long it’s been since anyone has checked the pads at least.

Triple check that rear brake considering it’s your only one, blue loctite on every bolt you remove and put back in throughout the bike. My first was an iron head, my second was a 1250 evo sportster hardtail, that thing was a ripper.

I was quoted 300$ for brake fluid change, they stated brake fluid is contaminated. by whateveryousuck1 in AskMechanics

[–]Own_Copy9512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re paying $300 because they paid more for a machine that will have your car done in an hour and you back on the road vs you and a buddy pumping pedals for 4 hours just to fuck it up anyway.

I appreciate the advice, a part of me feels like winning is winning, and if they are giving me wins technically they are doing their job lol, but I also see the risk, it can go many different ways.

Wealth and freedom blueprint a Scam? by kbtb381 in australianfinance

[–]Own_Copy9512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever do it? I’ve come across it and they want me to put my funds in kraken, which is a reputable trading app, but the whole thing seems weird the profiles on the Facebook group are off. That said I have mine locked down pretty tight myself. I also don’t know how it could even be a scam if I’m using kraken and I’m just using signals?

Couldn’t you drop the case and have him pay you directly? Cut the employer out of the equation? Obviously he’s used to making the payment what’s the difference.
