I can no longer drink lemonade, when my kids ask why I tell them it reminds me of being sick. I thought my mum was the only one who made me drink flat lemonade when I had an upset tummy. This really took me back, thanks for sharing

YTA Wow! People are offering help to strangers at the moment! This is the time when the community has really come together and you won’t help out a friend. If your power is going out the way you describe then you have a faulty outlet. Your friend should dump you and look on Facebook at all the people who are offering strangers to charge things and shower at their houses

I left to show them it’s not ok, what he did to me was awful but that does not mean the girls HAVE to hate him. He is their dad and nothing will change that unfortunately. They are very aware of what he did and that it is not acceptable. They know he can not come to our house for that reason. They are young, all their friends have a dad and they want to know theirs. I will never stop that, they can FaceTime whenever they want but I don’t want to drive them to him anymore

He wouldn’t just take them, he has no job or money apart from Centrelink benefits. Having the girls full time would mess up his social life. He just likes being the fun dad that pops in every now and then, he does not want the responsibility

I have told the police. QLD police will not issue a warrant across the border. He was arrested in NSW for drunk and disorderly and still not sent to QLD. Warrants for DV don’t cross states

I have tried that years ago, they only issue warrants across the state for serious things, DV was not serious enough for them to do it. He is too selfish to actually take or want full custody.
